Not the best
This did not work for our business. You have to be on the same network as the device in order to access any information from the app. Not ideal when you are not next to it and need to check the clocking in/out information. We will be returning for a refund.

Hassle….
This does not look of feel very strong but time will tell on that one, easy to install but not particularly easy to set up. Read instructions very carefully and it isn’t too bad, the after service is good and needed. A few names wasn’t to much of a challenge but I can only imaging if you have a lot it would take a very long time. It is all working and records well so far

Flawed
Seems to be a little flawed, after trying for a two weeks I am on the verge of returning it. The issue is when the staff logon they are a day behind, so today is Friday 15th, the clock on the device is correctly set, yet if I download a report it shows the staff are logged on Yesterday. I have been backwards and forwards with emails to NGteco and even had a phone chat with their support (barely speaking or understanding English). He had me clear the Admin Permissions and then said that should be sorted, my response was that has sod all to so with the issue I raised and I now have to set up the Admin again. Anyway it would seem if I have it set to use a 24 hour clock it fries the systems brain and it cannot cope, it works if set to use AM\PM, pretty useless really, there are 24 hours in a day, 2 in the afternoon is 14:00.Does anyone have the same issue, if so have you solved it?If NGTeco don't come up with an answer by the end of today it will be going back.

Super easy to use and maintain and oodles of features!
The media could not be loaded. What a fantastic bit of kit. Seriously.This NGTeco W2 clocking in machine is packed with intuitive and in depth features and is supported by a well thought out and real time updating app, making time management even easier.In the box you get the clocking in machine, power supply, USB (for WIFI setup but not usually required), mounting bracket, mounting fixings, a quick start guide and a very in-depth full instructional manual.Initial setup is very quick and easy but it will take you a moment or two to get your head around the fairly vague “Quick start” guide but - thankfully - there are a number of useful instructional videos that can be found on supporting app by pressing the ! button on the top right of the app login screen. Once you’ve downloaded the app and have powered on the unit, you can have to set up the Wi-Fi connection on the clocking in machine itself and once connected, scanning the QR code that you’re presented with on completion of Wi-Fi connection will automatically log you into the app and you’re good to go!You can add new users via the app - which is by far the quickest way if you have a fair number of people to add to the system - or via the clocking in machine, which is a little more time consuming but it does allow you to set the fingerprint scan for each user at the same time, which you have to go back and do separately if you add users initially through the app.The app is very responsive and refreshes in real time so new user data is available straight away.Once the users are added, you can use the menus in the app to enter, change and monitor individual users. Wider data can be accessed via the clocking in machine menu and can be exported for bookkeeping, attendance figures etc.There are far too many features to go into but one of my favourite ones - from a troubleshooting point of view and the existence of human error - is that you can amend or add sign in/out data for individual users through the app. This was one of my concerns for a totally digital clocking in system as human error can occur so being able to amend data is really useful.Honestly, this is a fantastic product and it has so many practical applications beyond just your usual businesses clocking in/out - one thing I’m considering using it for is for monitoring internet and gaming usage/times in a busy, multi-person household!! - and the functionality of the app in tandem with the brilliant in-built backend of the machine and good, lightweight build quality makes this a budget friendly and very adaptable system.A brilliant bit of kit! :)

Surround could be better
This arrived with all the screws/fixings needed to put it up, the power supply, memory stick for downloads/uploads and instructions. It’s a nice simple unit that does look smart with its silver surround. The only issue I saw was the surround has marks on each corner that look like cracks but not sure why? The unit is powered by a 5V adapter so you could mount it remotely and use a USB power bank unofficially of course! The back plate fixes to the wall then you route the cable and fit the plate with a screw to secure it to the wall (it’s only plastic so not anything special) the usb socket is on the bottom corner and easy to get too. The instructions are easy to follow and I had it up and running using the quick start guide in no time. You do need to read the guide to understand how to navigate as it’s not made clear initially. The app works well and you can configure the machine either from the display (very laborious!) the app (probably easiest!) or via the usb stick and display combined (not so bad!) this is done with a txt file you upload so hand if you have a list of names or .csv you can paste from then the machine is used to enter the finger print. The handy part is the fact you won’t have any fees to pay ever for using this. It’s not only for small businesses you could use it for club attendance or some such thing not just work related and for the money it’s not really that expensive an option

Perfect for a new business
I'm in the process of beginning to start up a new business with my sis when she moves over here from the US and stumbled across this, I immediately messaged her and said shall we get this as its perfect to keep track of clocking in and out, she said yes! So with that I ordered it.I've read through it all and tested it to see if it works and I can safely say everything does and it seems simple enough to set up. It isn't heavy so it won't be a hassle should we hang it up on the wall and for a business item, its a bargain of a price in my opinion.It's all packed back away, ready for it be used in the next few months, I like my gadgets and I'm excited to use it properly.
