Jewelry Cabinet

I was favorably impressed with the quality of this jewelry box. The sides and door frame are 9/16-inch solid wood. The back is 3/8-inch plywood. Everything is square and solid. I took off the hanger hardware on the back and attached it directly to the wall with screws. Because it is only 14 1/4-inches wide it wasn’t possible to bridge two studs on 16-inch centers so I screwed the right side, where one pulls the door to open it, to a stud and used drywall anchors to screw the left side to the wall. I didn’t find the magnetic latch to be so strong an to pose a problem opening the door, as some reviewers did. I don’t think it would be a problem even if it were hung on the attached hardware rather than being screwed directly. When we first looked at it on Amazon my wife said she didn’t care that it had an interior light and thought this was a needless feature. After using it once it was hung on the wall, however, she liked it was glad to have the light. The only criticism I have is that the battery compartment is only accessible from the back. I don’t know why such an otherwise nice quality piece has such a poorly designed feature when it would have been so easy to reverse the battery compartment and make it accessible from inside. Given the work it took to get this thing exactly positioned and plumb and screwed to the wall, in part with blind anchors, a job that took about three hours, I doubt that I will be taking it down to replace batteries when they die. It also didn’t come with an over-the-door hanging bracket that the instruction sheet said was enclosed. Since I wasn’t hanging it from a door it didn’t matter to me but it might to someone else. The bottom line is: It’s nice quality and, except for the battery issue, well designed. My wife is happy. She says it has a lot of space and she is amazed at how much she can fit in there with a lot of space left over.

Super cute over the wall jewelry cabinet, and it holds a lot! It seems well made, and I think the amount of storage is appropriate for most people (well, I thought I had a lot of jewelry and was surprised it doesn't fill this completely). There are a few cons I've come across though: 1. The over the door handles don't seem too sturdy (they seemed locked in, but as you lift it up to attach to the door, one would fall off). Also, even though it says adjustable heights, it felt super unsteady if the handles weren't attached to each hole. I'm going to try to use some puddy or other earthquake proofing adhesive for it because I'm worried it might not be totally secure. 2. The earring capacity is kind of limited. If you have a lot of dangle/drop earrings, great-you'll have good storage! I happen to have more studs/posts and while it advertises using the same storage part as the drop earrings, they look strange once you put them there. They do have some holes where you can hypothetically put post/stud earrings but it's really difficult to add the backing. The space to put your fingers and add the backing is really small, and the bottom holes near the "love" sign are impossible to get to if you have a lot of bracelets/necklaces. 3. The batteries for the light is on the back of the panel, so you'll have to take it down every time you want to change that. It's possible my batteries aren't fully charged but I noticed the light sometimes flickers or doesn't initially turn on completely when you open it.

I love this! It is very sturdy, appealing to the eyes, and has tons of "storage". I like that all of my jewelry is out of sight so there's not that clutter look and this functions as a mirror too. I have actually had this for a couple years now and it is good as new. Definitely worth buying!

This jewelry case is amazing! It is made of solid wood and is beautifully crafted! It has more than enough space for plenty of rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, and even spaces for other, more niche items one might want to store. It's size is not intrusive, but is perfect for a full-length mirror and lots of storage. No assembly was required, just hanging or mounting. It even came with small, low-profile bumpers on the back to prevent it from banging against the wall or door. I have not had this product for long, but I expect to use it for many years to come. I cannot think of a single thing that would make it better!

This jewelry cabinet is the cutest. I had it saved for awhile and finally bought it. I’m so glad I did. There is plenty of room and space to organize everything. The latch is sturdy and I love that I can lock it if I want.

It is expensive. But SO very useful and a solid design. Putting it together was really quick and foolproof. (Ok, double check you got all the parts out of the box~!). Having the built in light extra nice.

Me encantó, es perfecto para guardar todos mis accesorios PERO, no se si haya sido la paquetería al momento de transportarlo que se rompió una de las esquinas del espejo. Aunque no me gusta eso no hay algún mayor problema, me encantó

Superbe achat..je peux y mettre mes chouchoux ..absolument tout mes bijoux, mes parfums et il reste de la place ! Seule hic ..la lumière del n'a pas fonctionnée automatiquement..j ai dû aller bouger les fils en arrière du réceptacle à batterie pour réussir à la faire fonctionner. Maintenant il marche très bien .. les émants qui ferment la porte sont un peu fort, mais un simple ruban adésif appliquée partiellement dessus a réglé le problème. Seul défault .. une visse a strippée au montage et est maintenant impossible à visser..mais le tout tient assez fort pour que sa ne soit pas un problème. Le tout est très stable ! Les pattes se dévissent en dessous, pour assurer cette stabilité.

J’adore cette armoire ! Beaucoup de place, solide, éclairée, sincèrement, un non achat !
