I saw a recipe on PBS for special date cookies shaped in a mold. These worked perfectly. So easy to fill and unmold. They are very easy to clean and easy to keep so nice looking.

I was looking for these to make maamoul. I found a healthy recipe to add to my cookie list. They were not sanded as well as I would have liked. I used fine sandpaper and smoothed them out.

These were great for molding cookies filled with dates. I highly recommend this product

The actual molds I received were of low rough quality and will require additional hand tooling work to be suitable for use with food (I'm not into eating sawdust and chunks and if I attempt to mold cookies with these right now little chunks of wood will end up on or in the dough, have already had several small chunks break off when I ran my fingers over the cutout designs. To me, these are machine made....turned on a lathe and the design cutout was made by various bits on a rotary tool.....so don't expect the term "hand made" to equate to "hand carved". Traditional.....maybe in a more "hand carved" era but I seriously doubt machining tools were the "norm" in the old-world era.....just saying. These look like they were just slammed out in a hurry with very very little attention to detail or quality. Really disappointed but gave them 3 stars anyway.....and to be honest, not really sure why I did. Guess I'm feeling generous, but I shouldn't. Poor workmanship and lack of pride in making them is obvious.

These molds worked very well and the cookies looked very professional!

It would be nice if these came with written instructions that a person can file away. There is no guarantee that the instructions in the listing will still be available. These might make nice cookies but first I'll have to remove the little splinters of wood left in the carvings. Not something that should have been left behind. Plus there are gouges in the outside edge of one of them. I'm not impressed with the quality.

Great quality and size, very satisfied with the presses. Will use for many years.
