Perfume No 1. Eau De Parfum. Eloquent Scent For Men And Women. -3.4 FL. OZ

I lived the name, the bottle and even the scent. However, the scent only lasts maybe an hour. Very disappointed.

This scent is so nice! It’s perfect for a formal occasion, but I plan to use it every day. I like that it came in a presentable box. If I wanted to gift it, I could have done so easily. It was a gift to me though, so it was like opening a special present. I sprayed this on at 1:00 PM local time, and by 5:00 PM local time, the smell was gone :( I can barely smell it right now. Idk at what exact point the smell died off, but it was good while it lasted. I guess this works for shorter events. I know that using Vaseline before spraying on perfume makes the perfume last longer, so that’s one trick to use to get this smell to stay on longer. These are the things that are true and not really true from the description: - This perfume is designed for the beholder of a universal scent. TRUE - An eloquent scent of fragrance. TRUE - Softly balanced by base notes of Bergamot, Musk, and Ambergris. TRUE - Long Lasting Eau de Parfum. FALSE, unless you consider 2-4 hours long-lasting

This is supposed to be a scent for either male or female, but to me, this Le Fume Toad The Universal Scent Culture! No.1 3.4 FL Oz, the packaging is definitely more male, not female, and maybe the scent is more female, which quickly fades. The scent notes are supposed to be Bergamot, Musk, and Ambergris. I don't smell Bergamot, I may smell Musk, and I don't know what Ambergris smells like. It has kind of a sweet smell to it. Sweet smells, when it comes to scent, does not appeal to me. As a female, it's not the kind of scent I would choose, but it may appeal to other females, as well as males. Scent is very personal. What appeals to one person, may not appeal to someone else. The packaging is very nice.

I must confess; the unusual name of this perfume had intrigued me. After all; is isn't an overly enticing name for something you'd want to purchase and spray onto your body! The perfume notes are a blend of Bergamot, Musk and Ambergris; the scent is very pleasing upon initial application but does not seem to linger around as long as one would like, and reapplication is essential, during the course of an evening. Now, I am not a chemist, nor am I a perfumer, but I am unsure if some of the ingredients listed on the back of the box are essential or even desired ( the ingredient panel is posted for your consideration, so you be the judge). Finally; the other thing that troubled me is the fact that nowhere on the box, is the country of origin listed. (I have never seen that left off of any fragrance packaging prior; turns out, the product is made in China.) In my opinion, this perfume would need to surpass my other go-to fragrances in terms of scent and longetivity and it just doesn't make the cut.

It's more a masculine scent, so I wouldn't say unisex because its more of a woodsy and musky fragrance. The package presentation is nice and the bottle is quality made but the scent doesn't last. There is a certain aroma that throws the entire scent off. I can't put my finger on it but I didn't care for it.
