Amazon Basics Large Pocket Hanging Shoe Organizer, Grayish Tan | Over-the-Door, 20

I got these for my parents to help them stay organized, and they've worked out really well! Each of them have their own, so now their shoes are off the floor and easy to find. The pockets are roomy enough for bigger shoes, including sneakers and sandals, and the fabric feels sturdy without being stiff. It hangs securely over our doors with metal hooks and doesn't get in the way when the door opens or closes. The color is neutral and blends in nicely with their space. It's made cleaning easier too, since there's less clutter around the entryway and inside their closets. I really like how simple and practical it is. It holds a lot without taking up extra space, and the quality feels solid. It's also affordable, which makes it even better! I was thinking I could buy another for their bathroom to hold some of their toiletries too, since these feel multipurpose. If you're looking for something that helps with everyday organization and doesn't require tools or setup, this is a great option.

Product is useful in closets as it has pockets for extra storage that I was unaware it was needed. The pockets are large. The material is light, but strong. It provides easy access to items leading to less clutter on shelves and sinks.

I have a house that’s over 50 years old so it doesn’t have a mud room or walk in closets. For coats you have a closet the width of a standard door. Living in a cold state where it can be 60 one day and -20 the next you need options so between the three of us and a place to store the stick vac and mop vac that closet is packed. This gives so much more room. I did buy adhesive hooks so I didn’t have to use the over the door hooks, so when the door is closed you don’t know it’s there. If you are short on space or have kids that can never find their stuff or can’t reach higher shelves, do this!!! The Amazon basic is just that. It seems like good enough quality, not highly aesthetic but functional.

This 20-pocket organizer is great for keeping your family's shoes in order and stop people from losing one shoe at a time from every pair they own. I had no problems installing it over my door at home, but the only gripe I have is with the over-door hooks. While they ARE able to squeeze onto the door with a little bit of metal under tension, its extra size to allow for thicker doors than mine makes the door a bit harder to close completely with the organizer installed. Other than that small issue, the organizer is great and fits all the way from size 11 men's tennis shoes down to toddlers shoes with ease. Highly recommended if you need a quick and easy solution to shoe floor clutter!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This item is very affordable and durable. Hanging it was straight forward and tool less than a minute to get on my door. It holds a great amount of shoes and did the hooks did mot buckle under the weight even at full capacity. I recommend!!

I moved from a home that had extra large closets (the width of one wall in each bedroom) to an older home that has much smaller closets. The rod arrangement I had in my former home kept the shoes in the closet and off the floor and held 20 pair of shoes. Here there was no room for that arrangement if I wanted all of my hanging clothes in one closet. I was wary of this Pocket Organizer because I had one PREVIOUSLY that prevented the closet door from closing completely. NOT SO THIS ONE! The closet door closes all the way, the shoes are FINALLY off the floor of my much smaller closet and not scattered from room to room like this morning (slippers in the bathroom, flip flops in the garden room, tennis shoes in the bedroom, etc) I like that my shoes and my clothes are now housed ALL IN THE SAME PLACE in the same closet with no impingement on closing the closet door completely. WIN, WIN FOR ME! Also, sturdy canvas and soft 'hooks over the top of the door so as to not mar my freshly painted door trim! Very pleased with this purchase!

great for storage in RV

I love this product. I got it with my first child over 2 years ago to which it it still in her room, and purchased it AGAIN for my second as shown in the video. I am 3 weeks postpartum and have packed mine full of newborn essentials. The functionality of this product is so easy - you just attach it to the back of a door - I did the closet - and it provides a sleek and easy access to all essentials you need so you don’t have dig in drawers for items. It fits the door perfects and stays in place when full of items. The mesh slips provide great access to see what you are looking for and are big enough to hold even boxier items.

Was very surprised how well made this storage hanging is for the price, its marked as Amazon basic so was not expecting much, but its strong and lightweight and is ideal for the extra storage I need.

Excellent product, space saving and good quality material

It's sturdy and hangs on the inside of my laundry room (read: closet) door. Really helps to save space in a tiny condo. You will need a solution to wipe/clean your shoes before storage. It does NOT hold hiking or winter boots. I use the top pockets for gloves, hats, and other accessories. Good product.
