Plug and play, super easy. Metal siding may strongly reduce range?
I used these units to replace a underground ethernet cable between my house and an outbuilding that seemed to have finally failed. I put one antenna in our attached-to-house garage, mounted to the ceiling, next to the exterior wall, and the other unit on the inside frame of a window of the outbuilding, that faces the garage - this antenna connects directly to the ethernet port of a desktop computer in that outbuilding. So each antenna is inside a building, which I did to hopefully prolong the life versus outside. There's maybe 120 foot of open, unobstructed space between. It worked great out of the box. However, of the 3 'bar' lights on the antennas, I only get 1 bar. They work fine so far, I can stream videos and all, so apparently you don't have to have 3 bars. But I'm kind of skeptical of their 2600 foot claim. Now, I do have each unit inside a building. The one in the garage has to go through drywall, and aluminum house siding. The outbuilding has steel siding - I did try to position the antenna of the outbuilding unit behind the glass of the window, not the siding. But possibly the steel siding might still interfere? So, potentially mitigating factors there. But they're also only about 120 feet apart in my case. So just be aware that metal siding may seriously affect your range. That or they just don't actually have that great of range maybe. Still a very good solution in my case. Ymmv

Unit is dead after 2 months. Return window closed.
I used this for an IP camera that was too far away for wifi and an ethernet cable. Worked fine for a month, then started getting flakey. I had to reset the transmitter side numerous times. Noe the transmitter is completely dead. The return window is closed so I now have a $60 piece of junk. Will never buy again.

Works as stated!
I had a spare wifi router and wanted to add wi-fi to my garage. I have the one device setup in the window of the house and another positioned in the window of the garage. The signal is strong and reliable. I can now take zoom calls from the garage.

Not really helpful.
Signal just wasn’t strong enough to help boost our Internet.
