great product, can't rate longevity yet
this is a great product - the cleaner gets the glass amazingly clean, then you apply the water-repellant. The instructions are all in Japanese, so I STRONGLY recommend you watch a YouTube about it before using it. it's not complicated, but def worth getting it right to get the very best results. note: when you first apply the water repellant it will have a milky appearance, you then buff it with a very slightly damp microfiber cloth and it will become almost clear, but still a little milky, but then the first time you drive the car, the warmth inside the car will turn the glass completely clear Water beads up, very small drops will still stay in place, but any larger drops will run right off & makes your wipers 10x more effective - initially I only did my windscreen, but will def do all windows now.

2nd time purchased
Amazing stuff. I thing I read somewhere it last 12 months but it doesn’t and I would not expect it too. Easy to apply and remove the compound and easy to apply and buff off the sealant. Last time I applied this I had at least 4-6 months out of one application but I was using Rain X window cleaner to top it up. This time I have purchased the Soft99 glass cleaner to top it up with and to see if that makes a difference. I will reapply it to the wife’s car also. I might have to try some of their other products in the future when I run out of other brands that I have already.

SOFT99 Glaco Glass Compound + Glaco DX very good product clean my windows off thoroughly use the compound to prep my window cleaned off then used Glaco DX rubbed off as instructed I thought it was a little smeary but with a little bit of work, you can remove that the car was left for about 5 hours it happened to rain and I could see the difference

Great glass cleaner
Great stuff, shifted some sort of residue from my windscreen that’s been bothering me the last few weeks of owning my “new”to me car, also the polish certainly adds to a nice clean screen but so far not been able to test in the rain.

Expensive and unique, but better than its competitors?
I thought I would try this product after watching a review from Car Cleaning Guru on YouTube. He is very knowledgeable on car detailing products, and he seemed to think that this particular product from Glaco is decent. Having used RainX in the past, I pretty much knew what was required in order to get the best out of these types of products. However, this particular one from Glaco not only comes with the hydrophobic product that repels water, but it also comes with a mild abrasive, which makes sure your glass is fully prepared for application. My first approach, as it should be for everyone, is to fully decontaminate the glass you intend on applying the products to. I cleaned the windows thoroughly, paying particular attention to them in the process of washing the whole vehicle. The only thing I didn't do was to use a clay bar on the glass prior to using the first stage of the Glaco product in the pack. Once fully washed, I began my glass prep using the mild abrasive in the pack. The instructions say to use this after the screen has been dried. I found it to work just as well with the screen still wet. Using the applicator on the bottle of the abrasive compound, I began applying it in horizontal strokes first and the vertical strokes afterwards. I would repeat this several times across all of the vehicle glass I intended on treating. I would recommend that you hold the bottle by the applicator after priming it as it is a very runny product, and you will end up wasting more than it takes for the product to work. During the application process, you will notice that the product seems to separate on the screen. This is perfectly normal and shows how any previous application of a hydrophobic product is still somewhat doing its job. Again, just keep repeating the horizontal and vertical strokes until it seems to bind together on the screen. This indicates that the abrasive is doing its job. One thing I will say about the applicator on the bottles is that they are bulky and if you have a vehicle which has a spoiler on the rear screen, you will not be able to get the applicator up to the top of the glass. There are many makes and models of vehicles that have such a thing, and mine is no exception. You may be able to use a small applicator pad or a microfibre cloth and pour a small amount of the abrasive product on it to get into those hard to reach places, but I haven't tried. I just did what I was able to and moved on. Once the abrasive compound has been applied, simply jet wash the product off thoroughly. You will notice how the water from the wash will sort of hold onto the screen. This is another indication that the abrasive product has been applied correctly and the next stage of the process can begin. Prior to the second stage of this process make sure the screen has been dried completely. It is important that this done otherwise the application of the hydrophobic product may not work as intended. Once the screen is dry you can now begin applying the second part of this product. Just like with the abrasive compound it is recommended that you hold the bottle by the applicator after priming. This will prevent too much product from being applied and wasted. Glide the applicator across the glass in a vertical motion and then in a horizontal. This may not be necessary for the second stage but it is something I did. Once the product has been fully applied wait for a minute and then buff off. You will immediately know the product is working because after a couple of strokes it will feel like the cloth you are using is just slipping around on the glass. I recommend buffing off in circular motions first before turning the cloth and buffing vertically. DO NOT be tempted to go onto applying the product on the rest of the glass before coming back to the first glass panel you applied it to. If you do this it will make it harder to buff off and each subsequent glass panel you have applied it to will take longer to get to as it gets harder and harder to buff each panel the longer it is been on for. Once done, just stand back and admire your work and wait for the rain to come. It will be one of the few times in the year you will. My conclusions: Having used the product and trialled it over the past few weeks I am unsure if it is really any better than some of the cheaper competitors. The difference maker in this kit is the abrasive compound that is used prior to the hydrophobic application. I think it does a great job of further decontamination of the glass on the vehicle. As for the hydrophobic product, I can honestly say that I find it no better or worse than the next leading competitor, RainX. It lasts roughly the same amount of time after application and it does exactly the same thing as the aforementioned competitor. Even down to wiper judder and smearing after a few days. But to be fair, the wiper judder didn't last that long, unlike RainX. This could be due to greasy rainwater being thrown up from other vehicles in front of you when driving. Overall I think that Glaco's treatment is good. The unique applicators make it easy to apply without having to buy and use cloths or sponges to apply it with. Other than that I can’t really say that it is worth its price. Compared to other products this is quite expensive for what it is.

... was ich vorher ausprobiert habe.
