Fantastic charger port. Installed by an electrician, easy to use, and the app is also seamless. Had no issues whatsoever for the first 6 months since installation. Charges around 75% over a 7 hour period, smart and clean design!

This was recommended by a neighbour who had one of these fitted recently. It was well priced and had lots of good reviews. It was fitted by a qualified electrician who confirmed it was a good product with a straightforward fit. It can be controlled manually or by an app again straightforward. Timers can be set for on/off overnight or for a few hours boost. Well priced top quality product arrived ahead of schedule and well packaged.

Works perfectly with Maxus T90 Truck. App is easy to use and schedule charges for cheap night rate.

I thought, as we had expert contractors and an electrician working on the house, they could install this charger for me, and save me c.£500 on an Octopus Energy install. Despite the installation being verified twice, and them spending a lot of time with Evec's customer service, the charger still doesn't work, and now the return window is closed. First, it was tripping out internally, but not at the distribution board. Now, it says it is ready to charge, but the "Enable" button is greyed out, so no electricity flows. Currently, this is a pretty addition to the outside of the house with its blue ring that the neighbours like, but as a charger, it's useless. UPDATE: After some internet searches and getting a technical manual from Evec's customer service (who admitted the supplied manual was next to useless), we found that disconnecting the hard wired Ethernet cable resolved this problem. Charger is now working and, coupled with Octopus Energy's nighttime tariff, is charging my car up overnight.

Easy to install and use

Quite possibly the worst charger you can buy. I had to get a replacement 3 times - thank god for Amazon returns. First one was damaged, second one had a grounding fault, third one had a broken CT clamp. Fourth one worked but a few weeks after it was installed (by a qualified electrician who has installed hundreds of EV chargers, I should add), it slowed down charging no matter which car or charger cable I used. My cars would charge fine at any other charger using the same cables. This proved the charger was faulty as it would completely slow down charging without any reason or warning. Been in touch with customer services since July 2025 and they haven't still sent anyone out to check the unit to see if it's faulty or to diagnose the issue. Absolutely terrible customer service full of false promises. I know 3 other people who installed this and they have similar issues but lack the ability to contact customer services etc. To resolve the issues so they are living with a faulty charger unfortunately. Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic charger and a great price. Have had this installed for 2 years with no problems at all. The app is super easy to use. It looks good too. The only annoying bit is the light flashing when plugged in so be mindful where you install as it’s quite bright

This is an amazing bit of kit, I got 20% so was an amazing price considering how much the cost would be to have one professional installed through a dealership. It’s good quality relatively easy to install and looks fab. It’s easy to use either through manual mode or through the easy to use app. It genuinely takes all the stress out of home charging and at a good speed. For the tech heads you can see real time data through the app. I really regret using a trickle charger for so long.
