Not Flicker-Free, but...
Really nice light. Good CRI, they are rated on the box at 90, not 95 as advertised here; still very good, and there are no weird color artifacts. I like the glass globe - less plastic is better. These WILL flicker if you use them with certain dimmers. In one of my pole lamps, they flicker pretty bad, and I can't use them. In another fixture with a slide dimmer, it works well with good range, no flicker; some buzzing, but it's my outdoor patio light so it is not in a location where you can normally hear it. The adjustment on the base works as intended, and the selected color temps are pretty accurate. These are great if you are not sure what color temp you want, but don't want to buy a bunch of different bulbs just to try them. They are obviously not intended to be used in place of a "smart bulb."

perfect product- don't get the cheaper bulbs they don't work with a dimmer even if they say it does
Don't get the cheaper bulbs as they don't work well with a dimmer. The lights flickered. The Philp's bulb was steady and bright.

Appreciate the range of light hues in a compact LED bulb
First time actually enjoying light from an LED light bulb. The Dial-a-Color works great for me and fits well in tight clearance light fixtures.

Bulb itself appears good, packaging terrible
If you buy, maybe think about obtaining from another source. The manufacturer’s packaging only secured the bulb base. The top of the bulbs were unsecured with plenty of room to come loose, causing the bulbs to hit each other and rattle around in the package. It was like two light bulbs stuck in a random box. Might as well have been a light bulb torture test. It’s possible that someone opened the box and took out the top packaging mold (but why?) The manufacturer’s box had no seal on it, so who knows? Add to that Amazon ships the package — two light bulbs, mind you — in nothing but the manufacturer’s box. No shipping box, bubble wrap bag, or even a poly bag. Luckily these bulbs appear to have a relatively tough plastic exterior from what I can tell. Amazingly, the bulbs weren’t broken upon arrival, at least on the exterior. They both turn on, so the seem to work. But if they fail early, how can I be sure it’s not because of the way they were shipped? The bulbs themselves are pretty neat. The kelvin color temperature changing screw on the bottom is a cool feature that eliminates the need to buy bulbs in different color temps, if that matters to you. We like higher kelvin temp bulbs for the home office, utility room, and garage. Lower temps living areas. So this bulb solves that problem well. Other reviews rave about the lack of flickering. I have a floor lamp that uses dimming bulbs to simulate a traditional three-way bulb. The lowest setting seems to flicker with nearly every LED bulb purchased in the last year. LEDs from four years ago don’t have this problem. These Phillips bulbs suffer from the same minor flickering problem as all the other recent LEDs on the lowest setting of my lamp. You may find other flickering issues solved by these bulbs, so much depends on the switch and socket, whether lamp or fixture. The build quality on the bulb seems better than most, definitely makes it seem like the higher cost equals higher quality. At the end of the day, what matters is how long these last with brightness and function the same as day one. Only time will tell if that will happen. If I see premature failure, I’ll update this review. Until then, I’d say get these only if the color changing feature or the Phillips name means something to you.

Coo coo bananas that affordable cheaper version not available.
Completely crazy that affordable cheaper non adjustable version not available but this works. I knew what color I wanted and would rather buy many than 1 at the same price to have an adjustable feature. It's great for people who can't gauge color but it's an unnecessary feature for people who know what they need. It drives up cost and makes a potential fail point. Use to be able to buy a large group of bulbs at colors prespecified. Hoping the led driver doesn't short due to this feature. Anyways, poor value and overly feature richness aside, it is bright and works like a 100watt. Bigger than normal 100 watts of both incandescent and led varieties I have bought. Twice as much as a philips led 7 years ago that was smaller and 100 watts led. Almost didn't fit in the fixture. Anyways, decent enough fit so lighting can match what is already there and provide overall visibility. Value wise, probably get an off brand for future bulbs if this is the direction of Philips. Didn't want to deal with another brand's bad drivers. Philips has a good driver. It is like a ballast but it powers the led. Off brands have long lasting leds but their drivers always failed. Philips has had great drivers as I have bulbs going on 10 yrs however I would suspect the off brand qualities have gone up. The price, size, and feature that may open it to future failure has me doubting if I'll by this again.

Perfect, no notes
I’ve been hoping for bulbs like this for a long time. Our LED retrofit recessed lights have had the switchable color temperature for years, but we’ve had to keep a big stock of replacement LED bulbs for everything else because different rooms look better at different temperatures, etc. I’m glad to say these bulbs solve that quite handily, and unlike a lot of the cheap bulbs, the lighting quality is quite nice as well. No flicker, good color spectrum (no sickly yellow or harsh blue cast when there shouldn’t be) and the selectable color temperatures are exactly where they should be. I find the choice of glass for the bulb somewhat questionable, but as long as you don’t drop it, it’s probably not hurting anything (and won’t yellow with age like plastic, I guess). Great bulbs, will be buying more for sure.

I wouldn’t recommend
The bulbs are manually adjustable to different tones of light. One of the bulbs in the package I received does NOT work when adjusted to 5000k. The bulb has to be adjusted at the base of the bulb and requires it to be physically removed from the socket to make an adjustment. Very pricey for a lot of effort.

Perfect and they’re glass!
I don’t know why everybody is not covering these in glass instead of more unrecyclable plastic, but these are great. Bright, excellent color index and look like old bulbs if you have a fixture that you can see the bulb through. Highly recommend.

First of all. Let me tell you how difficult it is to find a true dimmable LED bulb. I tried 2 other kinds before forking out the money for this one. Over $26 for 2 bulbs is not cheap, and I needed 3 bulbs, so I paid $53 for 4 bulbs. But I’ll tell ya, to be done with the hassle was worth it. I know my video doesn’t really capture it, but there is zero flickering. Also the tone does not change as you dim, that’s my phone in auto adjust mode. There is a very slight buzzing noise, but I get the same when I plug in my Dyson hair dryer, so I don’t think it’s an appliance issue. I love that you can set the color tone on the bulbs. I set mine to a hair under 4000 so it’s bright, not yellow, but also not blue/cold. They do adjust on a spectrum, you don’t need to set it to an exact number. You might have to adjust each one slightly to be exactly the same as the others if you have multiple side by side. The size of the bulbs is also quite large. Definitely bigger than a standard bulb. So take that into account if a standard bulb fits your light fixture exactly.

Excelente iluminación. Buen tono Blanco. Duran bastante tiempo sin fallas.

Simply the best LED bulbs on the market. They work amazingly well with dimmers, and do not flicker at all. The white-adjust dial is great for matching existing colour temps, and I highly recommend them. Watch the pricing - they vary and can be quite expensive.
