The best jerky on Amazon
This is the best jerky I've had in a while. The texture was excellent, not to tough, not too soft. The pepper was perfect. Not overdone to hide the taste of the beef. And the price beat most other prices. I just stopped in to review on my wya to buy some more.

Fresh, Moist, and Well-Seasoned
Reading the other reviews here, I would say they're right... It does have a bit of salt to it... But, I'm a person who loves salt and puts salt on literally everything except my ramen, hot dogs, and my soda, so needless to say, I like it! It's a decent jerky... Not the best I've ever had (that title goes to Carnivore Crisps) but not bad at all either... I'd give it a solid 8 / 10. The jerky isn't hard, but it isn't completely soft either... it's got a nice middle ground to it... You get manageable bite-size chunks, and when you bite into them there's a bit of give to it, and a fair amount of that freshness and moisture still in the meat. Then you get to spend a few dozen seconds chewing, like a good jerky should give you, then on to the next one! I like it. The flavor is great, and the moisture content is perfect. If you do decide to bite one piece in half, you don't have to fight with it at all - it tears right apart, unlike others where you gotta play T-rex and rip your meat apart like a tug-of-war competition... If you don't like overly peppered jerky, this stuff is nice. It's got just the right blend of onion, garlic, and spice. The flavor profile and the soft tenderness of the jerky both complement each other and make a good product.

Just reordered more -- It passed the taste and price test
Your hungry and it's to early for a meal, don't want sugary food, so what do you get? Jerky, sounds good, but don't want that nasty, spicy rubbery stuff that claims to be jerky. I've never had real jerky, just the sticks from stores that I really don't like. Saw a youtube video of someone who was sent jerky from the U.S., real jerky, and it looked good enough to eat. Didn't get the name so had to read, and read, and read on all the choices here at Amazon.. Narrowed it down to this brand, reasonable price for the amount, didn't want to waste too much money if we didn't like it. We liked it, hubby had to put it so he would stay out of it. Pros reasonable price, high price doesn't always mean the best, I go with reviews first. Natural, no preservatives, no additives, no fake stuff added. No greasy, slimy feel to it, There is some, but not the bad feel type. Not overwhelming taste, a bit on the spicy side, but we both have some problems so can't handle spicy foods, what would be mild to some would be painful to us. Not so tough it would pull your teeth out when you tried to bite a piece off. There was a time or two it was a bit tough to bite a section off, that it felt stringy, but not enough to make it unacceptable. Cons a tad on the stringy side. sound's contradictive, but for those who don't want any stringy feel at all, it would be important. Older people like hubby and I with our teeth wearing down like a old horse, it was harder to chew on a few pieces. If it had been dry, it would have made it very difficult, but it had enough moisture to help. Amount, this is a common remark, not enough for the price. Since I don't know what all goes into it, cost of fixin's, and other expenses, it is just my opinion. Sizes, some were big pieces that we cut down to what we wanted. Felt there were too many small left over bits that weren't worth picking up. Dogs liked having it added to their supper. We don't have a lot of money to be snobs, so don't go we have to have the best of the best. Cost is as important as taste. This one passed the taste and price test, so ordered more. May try some a bit more expensive later on, but for now, this one will do. I'd recommend it.

Great quality, be aware Flank Steak has a prominent celery flavor
Tasted fresh, nice combination of hard chew and soft enough to bite into (mostly), and I would definitely buy it or something else from this producer again. I do want to mention that the Texas Style Flank Steak jerky has a very strong, very celery-forward flavor. It has celery powder in it as a whole ingredient so it's not really blended. I was really surprised by the intensity of the celery flavor but the beef was so good, way better than anything I can get in the grocery store. I will try some of the other flavors. I know I will eat this package, it just took me by surprise.

Great taste but too salty
The jerky has a great flavor but way too salty. I’m one of those people that love salt and it was too much for me. It made my tongue and cheeks raw after eating just a few pieces. Sucks because it would be delicious otherwise.

Go no further than Cattleman’s Cut it’s the GOAT
One caveat before I start my review. I found out if you put it in the refrigerator because you’re not gonna eat it for a while it’s gonna be like shoe leather like any other jerky but if you could leave it out and eat it within two or three days, it’s the most delicious and tender jerky I’ve ever had now here’s my review I’ve been buying small bags of jerky to find one that didn’t insult my palate. I used to make my own from wild game to domestic cuts of meat before it became to expensive. I finally found yours to be as close to mine that I wanted to express my appreciation. Thank you Cattleman’s Cut for an OUTSTANDING PRODUCT. Tender, not over the top insultingly salty. Bravo and thank you. Bill B

cuts were decently sized, flavour-wise was a tad bit too salty for me. some cuts were very tough whilst others were really tender. in a way it's a "poor man's jerky" as the quality of the product isn't consistent. if you're craving for some beef jerky, aren't too picky and want something cheaper than jack link's, this should satisfy you. would give 3 stars but it's literally half the price than a 10oz jack link's so price for value (solely based off quantity) bumps it up to a 4.
