Holds the blade well but still I would like the blade have a snugger fit. In all fairness I'm new to straight razors. It take a few uses to learn the proper technique, so far I'm getting close clean shaves. It may very well perform much better than I anticipate. All said and done, I'm overall pleased with this item.

I bought this for the handle. My old handle broke and I use a regular straight razor that require honing.

I like the razor, quality is fine and ha doing is good. I purchased for shaving my head. This is a difficult skill and requires a good shaving cream. I do not enjoy my time with this razor since I can only get about halfway through shaving my head before thse blades dull enough to catch hairs and make shaving difficult. I have to use at least 2 fresh blades just to shave my head, but probably 3 to be a smooth experience.
