Great, like new SE 3rd gen, unlocked!
I love the Apple IPhone SE because I love finger print recognition and the size!I wanted this new IPhone SE as a backup to my first as figured Apple would never be smart enough to produce an updated version of the model with fingerprint ID and of the same size. So, I decided to order a relatively new or refurbished SE.Wow! The new ones still in original packaging went so fast I couldn’t even finish my order!!!Then I knew I had to get either a refurbished or renewed SE.This was my 3rd attempt to get just such an IPhone SE, 2022, 3rd gen, 256gb, RED and fully unlocked!!!The first phone I received was the right color, the 2022 SE 3rd gen, in decent condition but was NOT UNLOCKED!!!! And Apple told me there was nothing they could do to help me!!! Back it went! The next IPhone SE 3rd gen, while unlocked, was WHITE not the RED I had ordered and had scratches everywhere! Back sides and the screen! It too went back! The third time was a charm!!!My latest IPhone SE 3rd gen, 256 gb is not only like NEW, but fully unlocked and RED! It has over 85% battery capacity and looks brand new and is RED!!! I was amazed at how pristine it was, so much so it has become my primary SE and my old one is my backup. My hope is that someday Apple will see how great the popularity of, and demand for, the SE is and they will upgrade its performance and reintroduce it to the market for those of us who like touch Fingerprint ID and like a compact phone that fits in your shirt or ski jacket pocket!!!I couldn’t be happier with my newly renewed SE phone or the seller!!!

The last value phone
My wife's SE 2nd gen was aging poorly and the 64 GB she got was quickly filling up leaving her little space for pictures / vidoes. For the price, you can't beat this phone. It's not the fastest, but it's reasonable fast, and it has 5G.While not Apple's fault (and this review is on the item itself, not the condition of the refurb) this particular phone seems to have some minor damage to the charging port, so it will often come unplugged if you bump it (or near it), leaving you with a dead phone that you thought was charging. Not a huge deal - just had to double-check it was plugged in properly, and set it somewhere stationary while charging.

Recommended Next Step Up From S6
I upgraded from 6s because it only went to IOS15.5 and certain important things were not supported any longer. This SE3 is so similar which was important for someone that loved her 6s but wanted up to 18+. I could only transfer from my iPad (17.5) so I spent some time loading my new iPhone but it was worth it. This refurbished is just like new, seller quite reputable, arrived quickly. Very pleased.

Definitely a used phone, but in decent shape for the price
There's no doubt this was a heavily used phone. I feel that "renewed" is a bit of a marketing ploy, because it's USED, plain and simple. I can see the marks where the previous user must have attached a lens over the camera, and there are faint "in the pocket" scratches on the screen. Thankfully these marks and scratches are not visible except in direct sunlight, so they do not interfere with the picture quality. The battery also seems to be in decent shape for a used phone. My theory is these phones are turned in for credit when people upgrade to the next latest-and-greatest phone. I wasn't impressed with how the phone was delivered to me with a totally drained battery. That and the OS was not properly reset. This was definitely not the same experience as buying a new phone from Apple. But again, I'm judging this phone with price in mind.As for the phone itself, I wanted a phone, not a tablet / phablet, and this phone is great in that regard. It fits wonderfully in my pocket, and yet it has all the capabilities of a larger phone. The phone is fast, responsive, runs the latest iOS, has a great camera, and supports the latest 5G cellular protocol. It feels good in the hand, and the signal quality is what I expect in my area. The funny thing is that I didn't want to upgrade to this phone (I was happy with my old Windows phone), but when my old phone stopped working, I had to get a replacement, and I'm kinda glad now because this phone is very good for what I'm interested in - phone, text, photography, mapping, hiking, etc. For everything else, I rather use my iPad.

Flawless at first and thereafter
Battery life was good at 91%. Overall no scratches condition look and feel extremely new. I couldn't believe when I first saw it. But there some other issues with keyboard and touch screen which is minimal but it still frustrating when I can't push buttons on the top left or no typing certain alphabet.Revised- keyboard problem fixed itself after two months of daily use. Somehow Apple bug dept noticed. This phone is now perfect! Battery level lowered to 85% but it was very very meaningful upgrade from SE 2nd. You won’t regret it! Besides these thing is now hard to buy.
