BACKGROUND: I do not have sensitive skin, never used a retinol product before. Started the product twice a day and by day 3 I got a NASTY burn as shown in the images below with swelling in both of my eyes that got CONSIDERABLY worse. I stopped using the product and everything got better. The seller, upon seeing by negative review (despite saying I'd try it again later once my symptoms went down), in good faith offered to give me a refund. I did not accept the refund because it didn't feel right to try to use the product again AND take their money. I decided before I did that, I would give it one more try.RESEARCH: So, during the heck-ish evening where I constantly put aloe on my face due to the terrible burning sensation, I realized--from watching some dermatology videos--that YOU CANNOT GO 0-100 WITH RETINOL CREMES! I have seen some social media influencer videos sprinkled in there, where the horrendous burning is described as "normal" and "natural"... it is not. You shouldn't be feeling like that: peeling off whole layers of skin and lighting your face up like a Christmas tree. You have to start slow.THE PRODUCT: The bottle says morning and night in the instructions, I believe it says that for someone who is already using retinol cremes. If you are NOT already using it, do not follow these instructions. It is probably best to consult a dermatologist.AFTERMATH: I, personally, decided to use it once every other day at the start and build my tolerance, and that has been the magic ticket. I have been able to use the product and get some benefits without any negative side effects. My skin looks good. I feel good.MY OPINIONS ON THE PRODUCT TODAY: This is a great price for this product, even when it's not on sale. Retinol creme is incredibly expensive by other brands, and to have all these good things in one is great. It is true what you see in other reviews that the volume is small, but it is VERY clear in the description of the product that this is 1.7 fl oz. That is not a lot of product. That being said, you literally ONLY need one pump to do your face and neck, and using more than one pump, as it says on the bottle, could absolutely cause the disco inferno on your face. The product smells good and feels good. I occasionally have burning if I use products that have hyaluronic acid in it as well (for example, Grace & Stella Eye patches), but that is operator error.CLOSING: I appreciate the good faith of the seller, but now can appreciate the product, too, now that I have understood the error of my ways.

I needed to find a regular night cream and wanted a product with mostly good ingredients, so I searched Environmental Working Group products on Amazon and chose this collagen, retinol, hyaluronic acid cream to try. The only objectionable ingredients on first glance appear to be phenoxyethanol and EDTA, but overall this is a great product with many positive ingredients and attributes. I like that there is no fragrance and does not leave my skin feeling greasy at all or cause zits. It does not contain mineral oil, phthalates or parabens and provides moisture day and night. I choose to use this only at night though, as I use another product with SPF during the day. This product does not rely on animal testing and is made in the USA. I really like the product jar and the way the product dispenses. Upon removing the topmost lid, you have a choice. You can press the second lid, and an appropriate amount of product will dispense upward through a center hole. Alternatively, you can unscrew the second lid and take the product directly from the jar with your fingers. I find the first option more sanitary, and I was amazed that there was no product left in the bottom of the jar upon using the dispenser mechanism to dispense all product. There was some residual product underneath the dispenser lid which I took out with my finger, because I didn't want to waste any of this product. Fortunately, this comes in two sizes, and I ordered the larger size with my most recent purchase. I highly recommend this!

I give this a 4 because I haven't used it long enough to notice any changes in my skin/complexion. Sorry, I dislike when people do this but I wanted to let people know what I think so far. I think it's as good as the other products with the same ingredients. HOWEVER, it does have a very slight (I don't want to say "burn"), but I can feel it and I don't ever feel other products. So I feel like this may have some stronger ingredients. I wouldn't say I have sensitive skin so if you do, maybe try a small amount on an area of your face at first. I am 54, and my target areas are my smile lines around my eyes and a tad bit on the upper lip area.

Probably due to a lack of moisture, the oil from the glands in my nose, frequently becomes dry. Plugging up the pores. I have had to use: Soap, Vegetable Oil, and a lot of scrubbing, to clear out my plugged nose pores.Once I began using this cream, I NO LONGER have to do this deep cleaning of my nose's pores. I just apply a thin layer, both in the morning, and before I go to bed. My nose pores remain clear, and un-plugged.This cream provides the extra moisture that your skin, and pores, need.

I love this facial and neck cream, my skin is soft and vibrant. A little goes a long way. I see results on my neck and jawline. Because of my weight loss, I noticed flabby skin forming on the problem areas listed above. I’ve been using it two times a day AM and PM and the results are great, I can visibly see my skin getting firmer. I have recently been massaging this cream on my arms and it’s slightly working. I’ve been using this product for two months. I plan to keep using it. No irritation or allergic reaction.

OMG.....I was very impressed with the hydration of the SimplyVital Collagen, Retinol & Hyaluronic Acid Cream. I had been using many of the very expensive top brands, but Simplyvital is incredible......awesome! I am 70 and my skin tends to dry out. I love this cream, and the price is so affordable. At night I apply an Estriol Cream 5000mcg on my face, neck and hands. Then I apply the SimplyVital Collagen, Retinol & Hyaluronic Acid Cream. When I wake up in the morning my face is still dewy & hydrated. I hope to see some results in 90 days. Give it a try and I hope you will have the same results.
