Works great if you give it a chance but not for everyone.
I have owned one of these reflexology mats for over 17 years. I use it consistently every single day in the morning for about 4+5 minutes while I shave and brush teeth. I personally get a lot of relief when I use it. This mat is not for everyone and yes it is likely going to be painful in the beginning. Once you are on it for a couple of minutes your feet will start to relax and if you let gravity do it's thing and don't resist the tension you will sink into the mat and start to enjoy it.Yes, it does smell like gasoline brand new but it does fade. ( This is made in China and for the price it is still a great product.)

Not Sure What I Was Expecting, But it Wasn't This
I guess it's a matter of opinion, but standing on this foot massager offers no relief, nor does it seem to offer any circulation stimulation. I've been using it for several weeks and haven't had any relief to the pain areas that this reflexology mat claims to help with. I may be using it wrong though because it came with no directions. I wish the manufacturer would reach out or reply with proper instructions.

I like this mat and use it every day
I like this mat and use it every day. I have another similar one, but the profile of this one feels much better conforming and mini-bumps on the top of each spike add to the acupressure effect. I am giving only 4 stars for 2 reasons:1. The plastic smell that linger for quite long time even if you try to vent the mat out outdoors before using.2. I wish the placements for soles are further apart, at least the width of the shoulders. That would make standing on it much more natural (at least for me)

Pain relief? More like causes pain!
This thing was really seriously painful to stand on for under a minute. I can't imagine anyone standing on this all day.

Order was wrong
Did it use the product at all. A solid piece of hard plastic will not relieve foot pain.
