Need vitamin c to help my iron supplement absorb . It need to to be taken on empty stomach does not case upset stomach taste is good easy to swallow . Feel better on iron and this helps iron absorb. Trust the brand and its quality and effectiveness.

Made in Scotland! Sold! Family takes one every day as nobody eats enough vitamin C/citrus, etc., so we try to ward off anything with quality supplements. I care that these are not sourced with any third world by-products, as I check where my rx's are sourced also, so I care about quality. These are reasonably priced when you buy in bulk!

Easy to swallow & reasonably priced

I like the brand in general as I feel the ingredients are higher quality. I couldn't get through this ottle though because I started to dread the sour sensation.

There's nothing fancy about vitamin C, but the Doctor's Best option is still a good quality option. I use it as a seasonal immunity boost during fall / winter, I generally have a healthy diet and lifestyle so I don't necessarily need extra vitamin supplements. I take 1 capsule twice daily, with or without food (depending on when I remind myself taking it); I didn't notice food or time of day having an impact. I do try to take it when I consume foods high in collagen, like my beef gelatin desserts, as I find it helps my skin, hair and nails more take advantage of the collagen. The capsules are somewhat small, easy to take and didn't caused bad reflux or other stomach issues.

Capsule is made of Hypromellose. Just an FYI. I love the Vitamin C powder by this company and thought I would try their capsules too. I'm not sure what I think of them yet.
