Life changing read!
I first found this little book over 20 years ago. Since then I’ve read it over 100 times and given away a hundred copies. When a friend or colleague is going through a rough patch, I send it to them. It helps gain perspective. It takes all of 2 hours to read out loud (I read it to my sister on a mini road trip) though it is better to read a little and absorb it. Before you finish the first read you will feel much more peaceful (at least that was my experience and many of my peeps)Some concepts were so foreign to me at first- I just kept reading (take what you need and leave the rest). Once you finish, go back and reread! You’ll get something new every single time🌞

Short book, great author, highly recommended
Short book, easy read, great author. 4 stars only because there are a lot of areas where they ask you to write down lists and apply certain topics to your own life, etc - I am not a huge fan of that so I blew through those parts and just read the book, which is quite good and highly recommended.

Classic Huber
Awesome book for those willing to grow. I like that this is the scanned version so the experience is similar to the paperback.

warning: pay for kindle but not available for kindle.
very annoying. $8. and the only way I can read it is on desktop kindle. It's available for the newer kindles such as fire etc... but not for the basic ones like paperwhite. I think the book should come with a blatant warning and not just in the fine print. As for the book itself ... yes it's very short but may have insights that are invaluable ... have not gotten past my annoyance yet and am still reading it ...on my desktop!!!

This book should be a must for everyone to read. Cheri Huber is an inspiring writer to say the least. The ides covered in her books are so simple and easy to understand that 99% of people miss them in every day life. This book has changed my perspective about life, and I have given away at least 25 copies to friends.

Simply put - it doesn't get any better than this
You can read this book in less than an hour - and it might be the best hour you've ever invested in anything. If you're open to what Cheri Huber has to say, this is IT - a simple analysis of why life sometimes seems so difficult, and how it could be so much simpler...or rather, an analysis of why we make things so difficult for ourselves, and how we can change - not the circumstances of our lives, but how we react to them.Make no mistake, this is a 'spiritual' book, but it requires you to believe in nothing but the evidence of your own senses. Laid out in a friendly, accessible way with simple illustrative diagrams, and written with penetrating lucidity (if possible go for the earlier edition - 1984 - which is attractively handwritten) simply reading the book is a meditation in itself. I have read extensively in the mind-body-spirit field in the last thirty years - Gibran, Suzuki, Watts, Weil, Merton, Nisargadatta, Krishnamurti, Charlotte Yoko Beck, Neale Donald Walsch - but nothing equals this book for clarity and directness. And if you've always associated spiritual books with fantasy or vague wish-fulfilment, this will turn such notions on their head. The aim of this book is nothing less than to connect you to reality - your current reality, not some myth from ages past.Everything Cheri Huber writes is worth reading - as are many of the works of those others mentioned above - but if you're unhappy or yearning to make sense of life, and you don't feel you have time to read much, try this book. You may never need another one.

Simple wisdom that most of us need reminding of daily!
A friend recommended another book by this author (There's nothing wrong with you) which I bought and often re-read. This is more of the same implacable wisdom, that as soon as you read it, you know it is true, and again put so simply, because we need to return to it again and again.

Excellent
Seek a starting point for inner cultivation? You will find it here. Enjoyed the handwritten format, essence in point form and examples greatly. No beginning or end, only a continuum. Very grateful. Rich material for self-reflection and practise.
