Yes it comes with a laptop bag that is removable, as well as the bag itself having a laptop compartment area. Note, the removable laptop bag fits inside pull trolley so is smaller and hold ls an 16" laptop, whereas the trolley case compartment can hold a 17" laptop if it is put straight in. There is space for some overnight clothes.

What is the max size laptop that will fit into the wheeled bag (i.e. not the removable bag). My laptop is 42.5 cm x 28.5 cm. Will this fit?

my laptop is withing a couple of millimetres of your dimensions and fits in nicely. No movement when fitted with the strap where the laptop goes so no damage occurs for travelling

What are the diameter of the wheels on this case?

About 3 inches across. It is a really well made bag. Good quality zips.
