Great product!
I was originally going to buy ghd's, but I like to always filter through the reviews first to check a product out and someone recommended the cloud nine straightener. Id not heard of this brand before, especially as I haven't used heat styling on my hair in years. But I have to say, I think these are deffinately the best straighteners I've owned. Weird...but I don't straighten with them, I use them to give my hair a soft curl (I personally find it easier curling with a flat iron) and I'm very impressed. My hair looks lovely and feels shiny and soft!

Best Hair Straightener
I have been using Wide plate GHD for a few years, the temperature is set no turning down no choice. The Cloud Nine in my opinion are much better, can set the temperature to desired setting very fast heat up time. glide through hair no snagging, very impressed they come with own case uk plug. My hair feels better for using the Cloud Nine on a lower temperature.

Wow - Incredible product with lasting results!
I purchased these for the same reason as the majority of reviews here- my beloved GHDs had started to loose it after after 12 years service and I needed to replace them. However modern day GHDs just dont feel to be of the same standard as mine and certainly didnt feel like they'd last 12years. I took a gamble and ordered these after reading that the same people who started GHD when I bought mine moved on to create cloud 9.These straighteners are amazing! I have huge loose curls, incredibly thick, very wiry hair made up of course and fine sections. My hair is natural multi shades of blonde to strawberry because of the different textures and this means it has a tendency to frizz- and if theres moisture in the air it going to get bigger and curlier as the day progresses (some days it's so big I'm amazed I can fit through a door 😉).After 3 weeks of use in the winter I can honestly say Cloud Nine straighteners are incredible! My hair stays long and smooth, with less tendency for the curls to come back. I've never known my hair look so good! Even on a beach walk in the drizzle - I came back with hair that was long, not frizzy and slight kinks in it. Normally the curls would have returned within 30mins and it looses 6ins in length to the frizz.Incredible product with lasting results.

Where have these been all my life
If anyone looking to invest in great straighteners these are a great choice. I’ve been using top brand straighteners for years but none ever as good as these ones. What a difference they have made to my hair & I've only had them less than 1wk. My hair looks as if I’ve just came out a salon & they glide through ur hair & I can do full head of hair within 15 min. I love the wider plates they are amazing & also gives my hair a great shine. They are well worth the extra money I paid for them. In addition they heat up within 20seconds. I found doing the back of my hair a chore & after using these they’ve made it a pleasure as they just glide through your hair only regret is that I never bought these sooner & also a bonus they come with a handy & convenient case for travelling which isn’t too bulky it has a uk plug fitted on & last of all the cable is a great length & so far hasn’t tangled that other straighteners I’ve had well done cloud nine I love doing my hair now

I'm converted!!!
I have always been a diehard GHD fan. When mine finally 'gave up the ghost', I decided to do a bit of research before jumping in and buying another pair. Then the Cloud Nine reviews caught my eye! I was a bit dubious about switching to a brand I hadn't tried before, but decided to give them a go - purely based on the overwhelming positive reviews I had read. The next decision was whether or not to go for the wide plates. This was a much harder decision for me! I really didn't want to find them too bulky and cumbersome. In the end, looking at the measurements on a ruler (!) the actual width of the wide plates is 4cm - and I figured that this wasn't much wider than the regular GHDs I was used to! In fact, I think the regular cloud nines may have proved too thin and time consuming. So the verdict... I made 100% the right decision going for these straighteners! I can straighten my hair much quicker than before and I have no complaints at all about the quality of the Cloud Nines. They glide through my hair and never snag. (My hair is prone to frizz and quite thick). I tend to use the highest heat setting for my hair, but I do like the variable heat options as it means I can also use the straighteners on my 9 year old daughters hair - on a much lower setting. My only negative comment would be that the straighteners don't come with a heat proof mat. I definitely recommend these straighteners!

Great product and as good as GHDs!
So I did quite a lot of research around these straighteners as I've always had GHDs. I took the plunge and bought a pair - the wide irons...These are really, really good. I love the fact you have control over the temperature and have the long cable. I have long hair (past the middle of my back) and it's curly too. In total, it took me only 20 mins to do my whole hair poker straight which I was completely gobsnacked at. My hair doesn't snag on the straighteners and it's never too hot because I can control the temperature. The only points to note are the fact the straighteners don't beep when they're ready to use, the green light stops flashing though so it does tell you that way. My preference is a wee beeping noise to tell me but that's quite trivial really. Also, the back of the straighteners get very, very hot (GHDs didn't) so you have to be careful where you put your fingers and to make sure you don't grasp too far along. Lastly, the overall feel of the straighteners to me, feels a bit cheap and don't have edges as smooth as GHDs. Just feels plasticky!I would definitely recommend though. Worth the money! With a 3 year warranty, a nice wee case and a silicon heat guard free with the straighteners, it's a no brainer for me! And a nice change from GHDs!
