Used on an infected bite wound. I have a very large rescue dog who is extremely fearful of vets. After trying other off the shelf remedies, this was the last resort. I’m very relieved to say that 72hrs later the swelling has gone and the wound looks clear of infection. No horribly stressful vet visit 😁

I used this to ease what I think was bruising to one of my dog's paws. It worked, because after 2 poultices applied at 2 hour intervals and then overnight rest he was as right as rain the next day. He's a bearded collie so I'm used to dealing with the usual run of the mill bruises, but this was brilliant for whatever was making him lick the paw so much. There was no trace of anything like a grass seed that might have penetrated the skin, no wound at all, but I applied the poultice warm (blood temperature) just in case. Nothing leaked from the site. Great stuff to use for poulticing as it isn't messy.
