fantastic tank
i love this fish tank. i’ve had it a few month now but i’m very impressed how long it keeps sparkling clean inside. i clean mine out once a month and have a few minnows in mine at the moment but im planning to get another couple of other small fish. it’s an ideal size and keeps all the pumps and wires at the back of the tank behind a wall to hide the bits and make the fish tank more viewing friendly. the lightning effect is really amazing and actually looks like real lightning. there are quite a few colours to choose from and brightness levels. 58L is perfect and it can even hold some snails for keeping things clean. plenty of room.the front of the tank is curved for better viewing and good advice for keeping algae from growing too fast is to have the lighting level lower than maximum level to avoid growth. easy to keep clean and pump noise is very quiet to can’t hear it at all. highly recommended. best tank i’ve ever had.

Good for a starter tank
This is a pretty OK starter tank. In the box is a 57L aquarium, split into 4 sections. The main section is the display, there is a water inlet section, a filter section and finally a pump section. The filter section is filled with a shaped foam for mechanical filtration, a small bag of ceramic filter media for biological filtration and a small bag of activated carbon. In the lid is an LED light with remote control. The tank is made of reasonably thick glass with a bow front. There are darkened sections of glass at the top and back to hide the equipment and light spill into the room. The bow front is not ideal.I've set it up as a tropical planed aquarium and has been going for just over 6 week.In order to get the tank up and running I needed to add a heater and a lighting control system, that cost around £15 each. I also added aquascape, plants and live stock costing around £100 extra. The lack of a timer for the lights is a major con for this tank, it would cost pennies to add and would make for a much more integrated system. No one needs the multicoloured LEDs but they are there anyway, why not do the same for a timer? The lights are OK for brightness on the maximum setting - I'm getting pretty good plant growth and the carpeting plants are starting to spread.I've swapped out the very noisy pump for an almost silent one that's also more powerful, getting 10x turn over in the tank. There is still a little buzz from the tank; this is coming from the plastic lid vibrating. Without the lid, the new pump can't be heard. All in all, it's an OK tank. If you are just starting out (or restarting like me) then it's ideal. Just don't expect it to last.

After one year...
After having used this tank for a little under a year now. I can review it fully. I’ll start with the filtration. The filtration is really good. It takes up the back part of your tank at the cost of extremely thorough filtration & when it comes to fish where you can spend a lot of money on them you will want to keep them alive. The tank comes with activated carbon and bio rings. I’ve since replaced my activated carbon with bio rings & use two sets. The pump chamber in this tank sometimes drops lower than the other chambers. After intense investigation my studies have concluded that this happens because of blockage in the filter media in the previous chamber. When the media becomes clogged it slows down the water passing into the pump chamber, while the pump still pumps out around 250l p/h so the difference is pumped out from the chamber. Imagine spending money faster than you’re getting it. You will need a source of money from somewhere else. Next I will talk about the stand. I purchased this tank without the stand. It would be better to get the stand with it as it will look better as a whole unit than just a glass box on a surface. As for the vertical bow front I believe a horizontal bow would have been a far superior manufacturing decision by fluval. The tank is only 40cm wide with a vertical bow front so unless you are looking at the tank front the front you will see a funny image. The reason fish tanks come with a horizontal bow is so that as you are seated around any room you can see a nice view of the fish from the front and from the sides of the aquarium. All in all five stars. Great starter tank!

Nice size
The tank is a nice size perfect for my betta fish and a few tetras . Only given 3 stars because the pump is useless. Had to replace the pump and also replaced the heater . I’d suggest buying the tank only . I definitely would not recommend the filter .Now reduced to 1 star as it’s leaking. Rubbish product!

Love it!
Great tank has pretty much all that you need, makes a great first time tank and would be great for a kids first time tank with the colour change light and easy set up. Love it, looks great too!

Great tank setup.
Great mid sized tank setup, I like the way the filters and pump are hidden behind the false rear wall, looks great. Currently cycling the filters before I add the shrimp. I added sintered sand bio gravel to the filters and used sponge course and medium in the first section. I will have to block the slots in the rear wall with course filter foam to stop young fry from getting through to the filtersI like the led lights with the remote, only issue is there is no timer option but I will just use a timer plug as when the power to the lights comes back on the led lights seem to come back on with the same setting as when it was switched off.
