The belt itself is quite decent: strong material, plenty of practically sized pockets, and an adjustable wasteband. HOWEVER, bearing in mind that men tend to have rather flat bums, this puppy is going to be a nightmare for slowly sliding down your hips as you work, especially when you load it up. An easy work around would be to add separate suspenders to the waist band so you can have the weight pull from your shoulders and therefore not have to be suction type around your hips. Since toolbelts can be very pricey, I think it would be worth getting some cheap suspenders separately because the design of this belt is quite handy and it's affordable...it just needs a bit of help with staying up. If suspenders aren't your thing, you can get clips that are designed to hook 2 belts together and attach this to your normal belt, thereby locking it onto your pants via your belt loops. Or you could really cheap out and ziptie the thing to your belt loops while you work, lol. For us this is a very rarely used item as hubby loathes doing house projects, but I do think a lot of men would find it a bit irritating with the sliding factor, so I just wanted to post a heads up about that.

Good quality product with only 2 negatives: It was made to fit those with a substantial waistline and the cardboard packaging label is attached with large staples, making the cardboard difficult to remove without damaging the fabric. Looks like I'll just have to buy a fine-nosed pair of pliers and eat more pies!

I bought this for a friend who did a job for me and did it well, but kept forgetting where he put his screwdriver and bits, its very sturdy and durable and has plenty of pockets and i thought it would be perfect for him as he does do a bit of diy now and then, and it would if he wasn't a wally brain and forgot where he put it and stop with the 'I'm a man, I am perfect, I don't lose things and get things done the man way' attitude, then perhaps me and his wife won't be pulling our hair out all the time. But all in all, its a nice product and would be a perfect gift for a diyer.
