For the money, this parrot is excellent. Good finish to the "feathers" and an accurate but rather ugly face. (That might be a bit unfair...not really up to speed on what makes a good looking parrot. ) Don't know how well the shoulder strap works - we bought this as a gift for an injured chum who is on crutches - he could see the funny side, but not enough to try it on.... Waiting to see if we get a Christmas card this year. Anyway, would thoroughly recommend this to anybody who wants a Captain Flint to complement their Long John Silver.

Rubbish, but served the purpose of a joke. It's feet fell off and it's feathers fell out. It's an ex-parrot, it has ceased to be, it's fallen off its perch...

This Parrot was bought to be part of a joke Pathfinder Kit awarded to an old friend who got himself notoriously lost. It was designated to be a "Homing Parrot". The bird itself is well made, light but sturdy. The only bad feature of the product is that the mounting straps can't possibly be used to secure the parrot on a shoulder. To do that, they would need to be aligned with the parrot's head and tail: instead, they are aligned across the parrot's axis. My solution was to sow the parrot onto a thin rubber sponge. This allowed the parrot to be used, comfortably, as a headpiece.

Fun item, with the added benefit I left it attached to my boat and no seagulls have ventured near since!!!

Very poor quality received the parrots feathers badly glued most had fell off and the parrots eye was just hanging lose.The packaging was in perfect and undamaged. not much of an apology by the seller just a plain "Sorry return the item"

The elastic snapped and a leg fell off. It did arrive on time.

Nice parrot but glue attaching to elastic ties is rubbish. Fell off after 30 seconds. Meh...
