3M Reusable Full Face Mask, Medium, 6800, 1 per Pack

I've previously used the 3M half masks which although were perfectly comfortable, I always had issues wearing goggles or glasses with steaming up issues... this usually resulted in me removing my mask or just not bothering with it if I was doing delicate work where I needed to see precisely. I do wood working and after a long time of not being as safe as I should, and a couple of nose operations later... I decided it was time to fork out on something where I could wear it all the time and not get router dust blasts in the eyes either (it does seem to be like a guided missile... no matter where you put your face!) This mask is brilliant, no fogging or misting what so ever, it fits really snuggly when tightened and is perfectly comfortable to wear for long periods of time. As you have such a wide field of view you almost forget your wearing it. Definitely put this at the top of your purchase list if you do work in a dusty environment, just not worth skimping on safety! Trust me. The only niggle I would have is as I have longer hair, the rubber strapping can be a little bit of a nuisance when tightening with hair pulling but you get used to it.

Great mask! I bought the 4 pack of 6051 gas and vapour filters with the 5911 particulate filters and 501 retainers all from Park Royal Timbers. Very reasonable prices and good customer service. The nose and mouth are isolated from the eyes so I have no problems with misting up. Its comfortable to wear for long periods. The rubber straps can pull your hair so I wear a very thin beany to avoid this. I have a severe dust allergy and this mask offers complete protection. I recon I could work inside of a hover bag with this on!

Excellent mask. I’ve tried several over the years including the 3M half mask which I still own. But as always, even with the 3M half mask and combing it with the use of the 3M vented safety goggles the goggles always steamed up and when using cutting or any equipment this is an absolute no-no! In the end I spent the money on the 3M full face mask and have not regretted it. I’ve spent months of a full days of hard work in this mask with absolutely no regrets whatsoever. The mask is very comfortable, stays clear for view and breathing is easy with the correct choice of filters. Once you’ve used it a couple of times it gets easier to ensure the fit is correct for both positive and negative pressure.

Great mask. I do a lot of wood sanding and find this mask perfect for my needs. First of all it doesn't steam up and obscure your vision, which is great for long tasks. Also, you don't get the sweaty, stuffy breathing feel of cheaper masks. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but you really do get what you pay for and I am pleased with the purchase. Doesn't come with any filters, but that's to be expected really... it's a specialist bit of kit and you need filters that are specific to the job that you are doing.

ok, its expensive but what is your health worth? very comfortable in use, easy to adjust straps both atop your head and at chin. Visor is so good quality. plastic so see-through I forget I'm wearing it sometimes. Very little in way of condensation even when wearing for 2 hours +. Silicone seals are excellent, very comfortable and snug fitting. obviously the particular filters you buy separately so I'll not review that aspect here.

Superior comfort easy breathing , even with pre filters and Crystal clear screen . Looked at other brands but this was clearly the best choice . A well made quality item

Better fit than most air fed masks, very easy to take apart and clean too. The rubber strap has snapped twice over 4 years of use but replacements parts can be found for under £10.

It's a quality brand, and the whole 6000 series of part numbers is comprised of this and a bunch of replacement/optional parts, so it should be a decent investment (depending on the cost of getting the individual replacement parts!). BUT, bear in mind that a) this doesn't come with any filters, you need to buy 3M bayonet-fitting filters separately, according to the application you have in mind); b) like other face masks, this doesn't work with beards (you either need to shave, or get a full hood); c) while this MAY work for your glasses like it did mine (small frame/lenses), you MAY need to get smaller glasses OR buy one of the optional accessories to add lenses into the mask itself, and get an optician to cut lenses to fit that mask accessory too. The costs and problems rise quickly. But then, so do the costs and problems of lung diseases, I guess.

Wenn man stundenlang Staub, Dämpfen oder Partikeln ausgesetzt ist, macht die richtige Maske den entscheidenden Unterschied. Warum diese Maske überzeugt: • Tragekomfort (Langzeitnutzung): Im Gegensatz zu vielen Halbmasken drückt die 6800M auch nach Stunden nicht unangenehm. Item for personal protection should be well sealed. Thi one was inappropriately packed in a big paper bag because of which the original 3m box was deformed and open. The mask is fragile and could have been damaged. If this is the case it will be returned.

Stanco delle soluzioni con semi-maschera e occhiali ho acquistato questa maschera facciale anche a seguito di un’irritazione oculare. La uso per la lavorazione del legno e alcune operazioni di verniciatura. Che dire... eccezionale. Se non avessi avuto il problema sopra citato probabilmente non l’avrei acquistata visto il costo elevato. Ad oggi però dopo 3 mesi di utilizzo posso dire che la maschera risulta eccezionale sotto ogni aspetto, ed è esattamente in linea con il prezzo pagato. Una volta presa l’abitudine risulta anche relativamente rapida da indossare e togliere. Visibilità insuperabile, peso equilibrato e non eccessivo, polivalenza a seconda dei filtri. Attenzione alla taglia, credevo che la s fosse adatta a me ma è davvero piccola, adatta ad una donna con un visino o addirittura ad un bambino. Consiglio a chi vernicia di pulire di volta in volta la visiera in modo da evitare che il vetro si riempa di gocce o si opacizzi. Le cuffie anti-rumore (classiche, non i tappini per le orecchie) si possono portare tranquillamente senza intralci. Straconsigliata!!! Ottima qualità.

Um bei einem 6m Stahlboot den Lack abzufräsen, benötigte ich eine Maske, die sowohl den Staub aus den Lungen fernhält, als auch die Augen und das Gesicht vor Splittern schützt. Die Maske hat sich dazu voll bewährt. Sie umschließt das Gesicht fest, ohne zu drücken. Dank der vier einstellbaren Gurte kann die Maske gut aufgesetzt und wieder abgenommen werden. Die Rundumsicht ist top. Durch die Doppelventilfunktion wird die warme Luft beim Ausatmen gut abgeleitet. So beschlägt nichts. Zudem hat man nicht das Gefühl schlechter Luft zu bekommen, wie bei anderen Masken. Auch das Thema Sicherheit ist gegeben. Mir ist beim Schleifen die Bohrmaschine abgerutscht und gegen die Maske geschlagen - im Display der Maske war kein Kratzer zu erkennen. Die Maske hat ggü. anderen Masken einen hohen Anschaffungspreis, der für die Qualität jedoch voll gerechtfertigt ist und als einmalige Investition betrachtet werden muss, da die Filter austauschbar sind.
