Nikon D5600 For Dummies (For Dummies (Lifestyle))

Almost 300 pages long, even so it is a comprehensible guide to Nikon D5600 camera which is almost classed as a Professional camera, and since it may well be complicated to beginners, this manual is a useful guide to what the camera actually does. Laid out in chapters with sub headings and a good index, camera users will find this manual extremely useful. I am not a professional, but an amateur photographer and I do find this worthwhile, spending an hour a day reading up the guidance with the camera.

I love this "Nikon D5600 for Dummies" publication, it is an outstanding organized tutorial which clearly shows you how to navigate through the easy to follow instructions showing all you need to know about taking better photographs and video recordings. The book also introduces you to the "Nikon SnapBridge" system which was the first thing I Installed via the Nikon SnapBridge app, this shows you how to control your camera remotely and transfer pictures directly to your mobile phone. It is the best photographic book I own and I never would leave home without it.

Loved the fact this was in colour and explains exactly what the camera can do. Much nicer than reading the manual. I’ve tried and just gave up! Shows you actual photos of the camera menus etc and what’s better than having colour pictures to teach you. Written very unambiguously and down to earth. Well worth purchasing.

This is a very easy to understand book on how to get the most from your Nikon D5600. I would recommend just learning how to use your camera in Auto Mode first them progress with the rest as you go along. Great value, much, much better than just relying on Nikon's instructions..

Haven’t read all yet, but what o have read is well laid out, easy to follow and great to be able to refer back to.Dont be put off by the title it’s just easy to follow.

Why they chose a silly name like "...for dummies" I never understood. The name put me off for some long time but this is my latest purchase in the series and like all others has fully come up to expectation. The language is direct and friendly without resorting to being jokey. It does not (I think) assume I have any pre-knowledge but it does not labour the points. eg fast shutter speed gives less light than a slower speed but the slower speed will allow movement blur. I started with an Exacta VX100 60 years ago and reluctantly tried an entry level DSLR. The D5600 demanded further coaching to enable me to get full use of the cameras capabilities. I am still on a learning curve but feel confident the instruction given in this book , together with the online advice from Nikon improve my photos.

This is such a useful resource unless you already know Nikon digital cameras inside out. It is useful to refer to when needed and in digital format you will always have it with you on your device .

The book is through in detail with examples pictures, definitely a must have one.

Bien commode, car Nikon ne fournit plus de version papier de son manuel (uniquement téléchargeable en ".pdf"), comportement mesquin et inadmissible pour ce niveau de matériel et une marque aussi prestigieuse !

When I bought my D5600 I needed all the help I could get, being a novice and all. When I got this book I couldn't put it down. It is so well written with clear pictures and precise descriptions that it made learning about my camera such a breeze. I reference back to this book quite a bit. It's like my camera bible.

Such an easy book to read, I’m so happy to have this on my phone and at my fingertips. I am a fairly experienced photographer but with my new camera these detailed pages help me when I’m in a pickle. I reccomend this book for anyone with a Nikon d5600 camera. It is so helpful, to me anyway.

When I bought my camera, I looked at all the YouTube videos and then still bought this book as found its a great reference and have marked the pages most important and keep going back to refer to it!
