Hearty
My husband recently had a bizarre accident where tree limb just whacked him in the head... He wasn't cutting. He was merely standing by in the tree did something no one expected it would. After 2 weeks ICU another week of hospitalization and rehabilitation, once home I decided we're getting helmets that will be our go-to for all things. He's mostly the one, and when he gets better I think he will be the one that is in our forest... But for now even for walking on the perimeter of our property we wear the helmets.I really appreciate the comfortableness and yet rigidity of this helmet. I really like the way the vents slide.A little FYI. I wear larger frame sunglasses and the helmet doesn't readily allow me to wear them... I have to push the helmet back on my head a little bit and it's not in a position that it stays put comfortably. I'll be getting alternative pair for when I wear the helmet. So that's the one thing you might want to consider.I also comment on the fact that the prices mid-range for a moderate price and I think it's definitely worth it.

a great fit, sturdy, and good suspension.
Used for construction and light search and rescue. It is NOT a bicycle helmet, nor is it to be used for electrical work.

Fantastic Helmet
We Absolutely Love this helmet. We run a High ropes course and offer guided rock climbing trips for clients. This helmet is exactly what we need at a great price!Pros: Looks exactly like a main brand with a different manufacturer stamp on the front. Same exact mold for competitor brand. Light weight, fits great to almost any head size, Price is almost half of competitor for the same product.Cons: What is the deal with this chin strap? We understand the advantage of having a chin strap but this rubber cup that goes on the chin is not comfortable at all. It's very narrow and deep. Just simply Doesn't fit well on any of our staff, 3 different people. We took it off completely. thankfully this doesn't impede much on the overall functionality of the product. We just tighten the strap enough so it won't slip over the chin like we've always done before.

Comfortable, easy to adjust
Love how lightweight and comfortable it is. Let’s hope I never find out if it’s well designed. The adjustable side vents are a nice addition, and the knob works perfectly. Bought for the 6 point protection.

My aluminum hardhat is heading to Goodwill.
The (black) vents high on both sides vent the heat build up & close upward to prevent rain from coming in. The headroom is generous, not slim like my19 year old CHINA aluminum hardhat. One continuous chinstrap will keep it attached but if there is no strong wind, the hard hat style knob alone keeps the helmet hugging the back of your neck. Lightweight, comfort, value for money… all good.

A very comfortable, well designed hardhat.
This hardhat is being used with attached earmuffs when piloting a hovercraft. Safety and lightweight, plus the color make it a great choice for head protection.Update: The hardhat is quite comfortable, but the ear muffs they sell are not worthy of the quality of the hat. We returned both sets in favor of those of another well known vendor. We are very happy with the replacements.

Adjusting Requires Disassembly
To adjust the fit of the hat required disassembly and, not being a mechanically clever person, was a bit of a challenge. The instructions were useless but after watching the company video on YouTube helped a lot. I use the hat when working in an unfinished attic with exposed nails from the roof as well as support beams. The hat stays on, good ventilation and no bumps or cuts. I'm happy.
