Cheap, cheerful but effective FX pedal
I had a quick research on which effects pedals gave me the styles I wanted for my bass (phaser, chorus and flanger) . This was the only pedal I could find that had all three without a range of gimmicks bundled in! It's solidly made, runs off the normal pedal supply and is as quiet as expected (although there is noise which alerts you to when the Fx moves from one to another . This is a useful aspect as control is via a rotary knob on the floor - I wouldn't want to depend on this except in a well lit area if I needed to change it. I'll probably set the pedal on one style and use it occasionally in performance - I also suspect I'll need to make a note of the levels of each of the two 'alteration' controls (basically level and depth) on paper stuck to the bottom!A real surprise was the tremelo function (one that I hadn't been looking for) that adds an interesting depth to playing on low levels and has the potential to add duplicate notes in runs on higher delays (with a lot of practice I suspect)It's a low price entry pedal and , as such, gives great value for money if you want to add a few effects to your playing style.

Quality you’d expect from a Behringer device, but lacks a power switch.
Product is great value for money, especially for occasional and at home players. It is made of plastic so this would not withstand the rigours of the professional or pub giggest etc.sound quality is OK, but you do get some noticeable ‘hum’ at loud volumes, again to be expected for the price. The biggest gripe is how you power it. It can be run off batteries, but these are a fiddle to fit (need to take the pedal off the base, and replace carefully to avoid cracking the plastic). Annoyingly though, thee is no on/off switch - if you power it from batteries, you need to remove the in and out signal cables from it, even with your amp and guitar off, otherwise it drains the batteries. That is a bit annoying and messy. There is a port for a 9v adaptor, but it would be helpful if at least the adaptor plug came with it, as I haven’t been able to find one the right diameter to fit the hole, and so am stuck with battery power. But overall, if you are looking for a cheap pedal to have some fun at home, you probably can’t go wrong with this one.

Great pedal at a superb price
May not be as good as higher, individual and known branded effects pedals but for the price you pay the Behringer multi fx is excellent. Has lots of effects but some people may get frustrated with having to adjust the knobs each time they want to change from phaserbto chorus etc. Most effects dont require you to go beyond 10 o'clock on the dial, as the end results can be quite outlandish beyond this.Would recommend a power supply but the battery is easy enough to fit with a pen!For practicing at home, you cant go wrong. Look after it and it will serve you well.

Great value way to discover effects
Cheap and easy way to evaluate a variety of modulation effects. I found a couple of the selections to be to my taste and then bought a couple of other dedicated effects, but the pedal itself does have some nice settings that are perfectly usable, although a couple of the effects are a bit cheap and the pedal does not really allow for full control over them - in part this may be because I am primarily an acoustic guitar player and some effects just don’t cut through like they would on electric. Anyhoo, it works and I happily use it for the good sounds that you can find on it.It’s made of plastic but seems solid enough - I’ve never liked the battery replacement routine with these pedals and it’s safe to say you should use a power supply when you can. On the other side though, I’ve owned a couple of Behringer pedals over the years and they were surprisingly robust even when used for gigs and practices.

Bad product but excellent customer service!
The 5 stars is not for the product but for Amazon's UK customer service.I have read reviews of how Behringer products are always failing to meet the quality standard of the product. I have owned some Behringer products and have never faced such instances till this little fella decided to tarnish the little hope I had for Behringer.I am expecting to buy their pedalboard pb1000 and Eurolive B205D by end of November but based on reviews I hope they will prove me wrong. When I received the product, overall the cheap looking plastic made its presence known. That aside, when I installed a new battery (yeah I had a tough time with taking out the cover) it refused to work. Thinking that it was my battery, I replaced the battery with a fresh one but still the same result. Not wasting time, I used my DC adaptor and phew it worked. Overall the sound was kinda OK for home use. I would not recommend this guy for live shows though. What amazed me was the excellent customer service provided by Amazon UK. Well I was pissed that the product was working only half the potential and wrote an unhappy email to them out of frustration. I truly salute the customer service representative for replying in such a manner that it made my day. They were quick to place another replacement order. That action itself took me by surprise and I wrote to them saying that I can make do with the exisitng one. Many cheers for them in making customers like me a very satisfied online shopper. Good job guys. Maybe Behringer should learn from Amazon.

Looks very nice
When purchasing this product you will need to buy a separate power supply as it doesn't come with one I did not know this until my son went to use it
