The monitor stand is sturdy and worth the money. However, you do have to know a few things before buying.First, the screws it comes with will probably not be long enough to secure your monitor. The M4 8mm screws were not long enough for my monitor. I replaced them with M4 12mm screws. Even then, the screws didn't fully go in the threaded inserts. So, I replaced the them one last time with M4 14mm screws.The screws are not expensive. You can get four screws for under $4.Second, the base of the stand has the shape of a short, rounded-tip pentagon. The rectangle section of the base measures about 8 inches wide and the rounded tip extends almost another 2 inches. The shape and width of the base were almost deal breakers for me. I needed a monitor stand not be more than 8 inches wide so it could properly sit on my desk. Nevertheless, I made it work; four points of the base comfortably sit on the desk and the fifth leans against a wall.The main reason I gave the product 5 Stars is that it comfortably supports my curved 34" monitor that weights about 18lbs. Other free-standing monitor stands in the same price range would've not been able to support that weight.In conclusion, if you are looking for a solid, no-frills monitor stand that can support heavier/larger monitors and are willing to do a bit of extra work, this is the stand for you.One last thing, don't plan on turning your monitor vertically with this stand if it's larger than 30". Also, I had no issues connecting the base to the stand. Perhaps, others who had to deal with this issue were unlucky and simply received defective parts.

Me gustó mucho su construcción, es solida y tiene muy buen peso.Permite el libre movimiento del monitor prácticamente en cualquier sentido: verticalmente arriba o abajo; Movimiento angular como de 45° (en la articulación donde se atornilla la base del monitor), además el poste tambien rota como 45° a la izq. o der.Me gusta el tamaño de su base ya que le brinda una gran estabilidad aunque algunos la podrían encontrar grande y/o estorbosa (28 × 25 x 2 cms), nada que un escritorio amplio no pueda corregir (60 cms o más de ancho).Es del tipo que va a durar años, de esta manera no se contamina tanto como al desechar otros mas baratos de menor calidad con mayor frecuencia.

Exactly meets my needs, that is: upgrade an otherwise nice monitor that does not have height adjust, to a proper ergonomic height adjustable monitor that now looks much more expensive than it actually was. Max height is just right for me with this 24" monitor, I am 5'10". If you happen to be taller, no problem, just put on a bigger monitor on it. 24" is not much these days, you can get some very nice 27" or bigger 4K displays that are actually lighter than this oldie but goodie, I was worried my old beast would be too heavy for the stand, but it handles it just fine, nothing marginal about it. That's why I went for this sturdy looking stand instead of some attractive but more fragile looking alternatives. I appreciate the simple, elegant look. Setup was dead simple. No problem setting the stand tightness to swivel if I need it. Sure, it is a bit tight, but that is how I want it. No play anywhere. My only wish: a bit cheaper please. I think I will pick up a couple more anyway.

All functions listed I'm the specifications do not work. The swivel function is also not working. Fitting screws at the base are not correct ones and needs effort to align half way. As there are no other set of screws in the pack, the question of me having used wrong screws also does arise. Only the height adjustment works well.

Works exactly as specified. Simple to set up.
