Ok, as others have said this is very runny going on, but rubs in surprisingly well/dry and doesn't leave my skin oily. As a primer, it's not quite as good as my usual (much more expensive!!) one but this is the only one I have found with an SPF which I want as I use a mineral powder foundation which has no sun protection in it. It isn't bad though, especially for such a good price. For that reason it scores 4. I will definitely use it on sunny days to protect my face but will probably stick to my other primer when sun is not an issue!

Great product, I will buy again! I bought mainly as an SPF, but really pleased with the improvement it makes to my skin. It looks smoother and softer, and evens out tone. It lightens tone slightly too. I would recommend exfoliating / moisturising prior to application. Putting directly on dry skin gives a scaled effect! I don’t generally wear foundation so can’t comment how it performs as a base.

I was initially concerned as the product was not sealed when I removed the lid and the bottle did NOT feel full inside. I don’t want to feel like it has already been used... POSITIVE: The product itself is great, especially if you have large pores- it really blurs them out! Give it a try.

I'm not a heavy make up wearer and hate the feel of Foundation on my skin. Instead I use this and a decent quality powder. I notice that when I use this product the powder stays put for longer and doesn't wear off as quick. It makes my pours less obvious. Happy with the product and much cheaper than others on the market.

Decent product but very watery - which isn’t a negative if that’s what your used to

Ive only recently got this and it has made a huge difference. I use a facial oil as my moisturiser but I always wear a primer before I put foundation on. As Im using an oil I decided a primer with an SPF would be good. That's how I came across this product. Ive used it twice and my foundation has stayed on my face. I am a 50yr old woman, going through menopause and today (second time using it) I received lots of compliments on my make up, purely because it hadn't slipped down to my neck. I'll ditch all the other primers, some cheap some expensive; smashbox aint great for an older lady.

Great to use if not using make up been using for years

Skin protection has always been hard for me to remember to put on to increase anti-aging. But now I don’t have to remember I just have to put on my primer and go!

I have used a similar product from Rimmel before, but I couldn’t find it on Amazon, so I tried this one. It is a matte, and was not good for my skin type. I have dry skin so it made my skin even drier.
