Would be great if the claw worked...
Worked great for about 1 day, and then the claw part stopped working and no longer opened or closed. The other features are cool, but without the main claw-grabber, it doesn't actually do much of anything, just plays music and moves back and forth, which is not what we were looking for.

Un robot para aprender y divertirse
Hay que armar el robot, pero un niño de 5 años con un adulto lo pueden hacer sin ningún problema. Ambos están aprendiendo como usar el robot y se divierten en el camino.

Did not work
I really wish I was giving this item 5 stars because I loved the concept, a gift for my son he could build from scratch and then code to however he wanted to. Upon opening this there were so many pieces and wires this item was literally building every inch of the robot ,my son who is 10 there is no way he could have put this together himself. Also the directions are just pictures and you have to understand what it is saying to do. But I sat him down and we put this robot together about two and half hours. As we got the final touches on it we were excited and felt accomplished. Added the batteries downloaded the app and turned it on or we tried to no power. I have tried everything up until throwing the product so maybe a connection wire or something was bad but after all that time it did not work for us really disappointing because the concept for learning was a great idea. Just did not work and would not recommend without an adult close supervision for a young child it is quite complicated.

Great Price!!
For all that this product does, I am amazed at the price. My nephew had a great time building and using this little robot. He has great strength for such a small robot. And the fact that my nephew got to build and program this all by himself helped build his confidence. I recommend this for any boy or girl in your life that needs a boost of confidence and is interested in robotics. So much fun!

Great for little builders
Comes with all the pieces that has to be assembled. My 8 year old son loves putting it together. He did most of it by himself with me sitting there watching. He didn’t get to finish it so I’ll update when he does.

These tips will save you time
The media could not be loaded. Fun robot but assembly took longer than expected and was a little frustrating at times. It took over 2 hours to put it together due to many redos that could have been avoided with clearer instructions. For example:1. When you install the two motors, make sure the pin on the motor faces out towards the wheel!2. Handle the battery connection very carefully. Ours quickly broke off on both the positive and negative terminals (metal spring piece) and we had to solder them back!3. Tuck the wires under the robot arm. Otherwise they will be in the way when you try to close the two halves.4. Something shorted out the battery compartment the first time we inserted the 4 AA batteries (not included) and the compartment was heating up. We realized this and removed the batteries before the heat made permanent damage. We waited until it cooled down and tried again with new set of batteries and it worked out that time with no heating issue.5. The small wheel kept falling off every time we tried to close the two halves. You have to pay attention to it. We ended up installing with one half flat on the floor to keep it from falling off.6. It took some thinking to figure out where the wheels go and how the control pad and screen slip in.7. If you do everything correctly, the two halves will close with minimal force. If you have to use a lot of force, stop and recheck as something is out of place.Once it’s installed, it was fun to see the robot working. The next step is to program it. There is another guide in the package to show you how.
