I am a student of accredited Human Nutrition degree and we use various professional equipment for body composition readings at the university. I have tested this scale against our very expensive bio-impedance scale and they both have pretty similar readings, which only shows that this is a good quality personal body composition scale! Obviously, there will always be differences in results from various body composition methods as the perfect method wasn't discovered yet, except post mortem tissue analysis! So far, bio-impedance methods are highly accurate and good indicator of where you stand. This scale is very easy to use and the fact that you can connect it to your phone is pretty awesome! The value is also great, I can only recommend!

simple to setup, connects to the phone via bluetooth very easy, and if you forget your phone, can still be used as a "dumb" scale, its anazing how well it seems to track all the extra measurments (body fat bone density body water bmi skeletal muscle protien ect) easy to read with a bright clear screen

These scales give a lot of information, especially for the price. However, I’m not sure how accurate the body measurements are. They are +2lbs out compared to my professional scales so not the end of the world but not true accuracy either. They are consistent with their readings though. Also, these say I have very high muscle mass which I don’t! This makes me skeptical about the accuracy of the other stats. The number readout is very large, even bigger than the pics suggest, which is nice. Also, the build quality seems fairly sturdy and they look really nice. Overall I’m happy with them for the price but if you need more accurate info you’d be better off going with the more expensive ones.

Great product. Gives me an exact reading of my body information via the app. Simple and stylish glass look; very durable, easy to clean and transport with its sleek design. Excellent value for money in my opinion.

Extremely good quality, glad I purchased these seem very accurate as well which never seems to be the case with these things! The app is full of great stats. Buy them!!! My ex had 180 quid ones, these are just as good TBH if not better, they seem more regular readings, with her ones I was up and down half a stone all the time!

I bought this scale to help me monitor 4 things, Weight, BMI (which scale calculates for you once you enter your height), % Body Fat and Visceral fat. The scale in terms of weight was accurate, I have another digital scale which is calibrated and the two readings were within 100g, so negligible error. BMI is accurate as it is just a simple sum. Next I checked the % Body Fat. The scale uses a bio-electrical impedance analysis(BIA) technology to offer you the data. The data obtained by BIA bio-electric measurement is closely related to the following parameters: body impedance coefficient/ height/ weight/ age/gender. I had to be sure I trusted this measurement as I was going to use these measures to manage a client’s weight and obesity levels. I there did a second manual test using Skin Fold Callipers, I took 7 measurements using the Jackson/Pollock 7 Calliper Method. Once I did the sums, I found the measurement was within 10% of the scale measurement. If I assume I made a 5% error in the Callipers measurement, I was happy this RENPHO Body Fat Scale gave me an accurate enough measurement to act as my reference point. It is hard for me to measure the accuracy of the V-Fat, however when I tested the body fat with a clinical scale it was just 1% higher. Again, I was happy to use this as my base line measure. The set of the scale was easy, Bluetooth connected straight away and the App was excellent giving me historic data trends so I not need to record in paper. Finally, the key with any product is how good is Customer Service. Although I communicated via email, I received responses mostly on the same day and worse case the next day. It is good to know that someone is always there to help you. I recommend this scale for Consumer use. The measurements may act as a awakening call and save your life! I have a client whose BMI is well over 40, I plan to use this scale to measure progress over next few months. GOOD LUCK AND STAY HEALTHY

Very good quality and seem to be very reliable, links to an app as well which is really good. Easy to use and work even better than Fitbit scales I had previously. Worked for 2 years with no issues

Use these scales daily to monitor my weight and it also gives you lots of information. The app that goes with it records your information via Bluetooth and can give you reports and analyses trends and patterns. Great product, well packaged and easy to use

Awesome scale, works perfectly. Obviously the BF% and BMI calculations might not be 100% accurate but I believe they give a really good idea of where your range is. I've never had calculations be drastically different from one another. Setting it up to your phone is super easy too, just download the app, open discovery, and step on scale! The scale automatically will update your app whenever you weigh yourself and you can actually see your progress as you lose or gain weight. For the price point, nothing really beats it. Similarly priced scales don't come with 1/2 of the features this one does. I think these should be the default scales anyone buys from now on! Thanks Renpho!
