Tall guys, I'm 6'4"
My measurements: Height 194cm 6'4" Span fingertip to fingertip 204cm Inside leg 91.5cm 36" Weight 92kg Chest 42" Waist 38" I wanted a boiler suit for a Michael Myers Halloween costume, and being well above average height I knew I'd have to try a few to find one that fits. The three I tried were: Portwest S999NATXL size XL Tall. Body fits ok, sleeves slightly short but wearable, leg length actually a little long. Thin material, poppers on the front, feels and looks cheap, although this is reflected in the price. Blue Castle 366/BK sizes 46, 48 and 50. Body was too short on the 46 could not even get it on. 48 was too short in the body and sleeves, and the width of the body was huge - it totally drowned me. This boiler suit was much much better quality than the Portwest one and was slightly cheaper as well. More pockets, thicker fabric, zip on the front as opposed to poppers. I wish this had fitted me because the quality for the price was excellent. Dickies WD4839 size 48 long leg. Body fits really well, can wear a couple of thin layers underneath if required. Reaching overhead does bring the crotch into my groin, but this was the same on the Portwest. Mobility is otherwise very good. Quality was superb, as it should be for the price, Sleeves exactly the right length. Legs could do with being maybe an inch longer for my preference but they are very wearable. The body shape flattered me more than the others as well, it seems to be cut to hide my (very slight) belly. None of these were perfect, but between the two wearable ones for my bodytype (Portwest and Dickies), despite being considerably more expensive (£28 vs £19), I much preferred the Dickies. If you're a few inches shorter than me/have a short torso and are of larger build then definitely try out the Blue Castle coveralls. If you're my height then it depends on whether you want slightly longer legs/shorter arms/cheaper price (Portwest) or longer arms/shorter legs/higher quality (Dickies).

Good quality
I purchased one several years ago from a local supplier and often wear when doing messy DIY. I've been impressed with it's durability and comfort, so went looking for another and found it on Amazon. The size is very generous. a 48" chest is a perfect fit for an average 6'1" male and within enough slack to slip a jacket underneath on a cold winter day. I've washed quite a few times, the colour remains almost new. Highly recommended.

Great quality and comfortable.
These are great! They are made of good quality, strong material. I have worn them for a couple of days now, whilst decorating, and found them very comfortable. I like the zip as it doesn't accidentally come open when stretching, like previous overalls I've worn. There are plenty of useful pockets, including two breast pockets. There is also access to trousers underneath, via openings at the side. They provide excellent protection whilst decorating. I barely got any paint on me, which is unusual! I am a UK womens size 16 to 18. At first I bought some 52" overalls, but they were too big so I returned them with absolutely no problems. I ordered a 48" size, which is about 2 sizes bigger than my chest measurement. These fitted really well. The overalls are slightly long in the arms and legs but could be taken up or, as I did, folded up.

Decent quality but sizing is definitely on the small side
The problem with the fit of overalls is that the overalls have to fit at several different points up and down unlike other types of clothes. With these I went for a 44" chest size which is 2" larger than I would buy for any other garment in the hope that the overalls would have plenty of room in them. Unfortunately, these overalls turned out to be a tight fit across the shoulders and hips. As I say, this is the issue with overalls. I should have gone for an even larger size. Baggy overalls that are easy to take on and off are what you really want. No issues with the quality of the overalls, seem well sewn together and plenty of pockets. Based on my experience I would go for a much bigger size than you would get for any normal garment.
