Alessi Ship Shape Container with Small Spatula in 18/10 Stainless Steel and Thermoplastic Resin, Black, 15,5cm

The item arrived promptly. I am a fan of Alessi design and this did not disappoint.

This is such a cute little butter dish but extremelyoverpriced. I think £8 to £10 would be a fair price for this item but, when I received it, it just did not seem to be worth the exceptional expense.

If you make your own butter ( double cream, mix 6 mins with paddle attachment) and you can’t be bothered to put into traditional block shape this is ideal for butter storage. Shop brought 250 gram butter blocks, they won’t fit

Wouldn't hold more than a know of butter. I was so disappointed by the size of it.Well made tho which made it more disappointing.

Now this must be ok as already bought one of these but in blue a good few years back and that’s still being used now. The reason I bought another, an Alessi one at that was that the blue one is lasting so well but needed another for using whilst it’s in the dishwasher. It takes half a pack of butter not a full one due to the shape of the boat. Does wash well in a dishwasher can vouch for that and no colour fading either. A knife included in the funnel of ship and on the whole a fun but useful item for your kitchen. Plus looks loads better than a pack of butter on your table or out on the worktop during winter.Looking at the prices this one the black and white they do tend to vary in price according to colours was roughly the same as some branded pottery ones but I much prefer this one. Looks stylish and classy but highly functional too. Must be good when you buy the same item again just different colour is all I’m saying.

Really well designed, as you expect. The top lid section acts as a stand for the butter knife when lift it off to use it - simple bu t brilliant.

Fab butter dish, i have one already for years, bought this for my son for his new home

Great quality. Wish it was a little bigger to put a block of butter in. Love the knife
