When trouble shooting automotive wiring problems, it is common to know if a wire has a hot or ground signal on it. With older tools I have used I held the wire in my hand and used the the sharp point of the circuit tester to pierce the insulation on the wire to test the wire. More times than not I would poke my finger or hand with the circuit tester. Not with this tool, you simply turn the thumbscrew to allow room to "hook" the tool over the wire and then tighten the thumbscrew. The tool pierces the insulation and provides the connection to the Power Probe. Great tool, works flawlessly and no more poked fingers!

Ordered a few of these to add to our stock room. We all agree they are great and work just fine. I can not tell any difference in the ones we had in stock and these new ones. They appear to be well made and fit with precision.

This product was what I was expecting. It shipped fairly fast and at my door with in days. I have used this product multiple time at home and at work. It is easy to use and you dont have to splice any wires. this product makes my jobs at home and work easy and makes it finding connection with wires with ease. I will buy this product again if i have to. hope this helps everyone.

Like the way it works but had to find a female banana plug for the wire to my tester. Would like to see a more universal connector or even a solder connector if need be. Can't beat it for checking automotive wiring.
