This case is fantastic for the price. You can adjust the size of the compartments to suit your equipment. Its easy to operate from, and the added rain cover is a godsend for that extra protection from the weather. Various straps around the bag also allow carryning equipement externally. The bag is structurall well made, the zip feels strong and of good quality. I was advised in a electronics store, not to opt for one of their more expensive bags and to look on Amzon. I am glad I did, this was over half of the price and has been to various locations with us already.

There are many camera bags and backpacks on the market so it is never easy to whittle down a shortlist to one product. Amazon has some excellent camera bags on offer and all come with good pictures and descriptions from the sellers - and they come in a variety of sizes and price ranges. This Tarion backpack arrived simply packaged in a plastic bag (inside an Amazon postage pack, naturally) and I have to say I felt confident as soon as I picked it up. This isn't a big backpack by any means but is plenty big enough for the average user. The fabric feels solid and has been stitched perfectly throughout, the sides and base are quite firm (some backpacks and bags have soft sides), and the double zip feels plenty strong enough. The base of the backpack has two straps that can be used to hold a tripod - I like this position because it means the backpack's centre of gravity remains stable and the pack won't tilt to one side as it would if a tripod was fixed to a side. On the outside is quite a deep, zipped pocket (unpadded) and with two small mesh pockets on either side. The interior of the bag has the usual removeable velcro sections so that you can create an interior design that suits you - camera bodies, lenses, accessories, whatever. I generally keep a medium telephoto lens on my main camera (Nikon 7500) and it fits perfect in the top centre section (that also has a retaining strap) and still leaves plenty of room in sections beneath it. This is not an expensive backpack, and it even contains a waterproof rain cover should the weather change when you are out of doors. It feels quality, my camera equipment feels nicely protected, it is easy to carry either over one shoulder or over two. For an everyday bag to hold equipment this is ideal, and is plenty good enough if you just need some safe indoor storage. I could find nothing to fault with this product. It looks good, it looks expensive (it isn't expensive at all). The only little niggle I could come across is the padded inserts - I felt they could have been better padded, but there are more than good enouogh to keep equipment separate and decently protected in the backpack. An easy 5 star rating and I can certainly recommend this for anyone looking for a basic, everyday backpack with no frills but still having the feel of good quality.

Considering one can easily spend hundreds on a camera backpack, this really isn't bad for the opposite end of the budget spectrum. It's clearly not a premium product, with no ergonomic padding or ventilation, and fairly brutal straps, but it does the job as intended. The dividers aren't quite as flexible as I might have hoped but serve their purpose so long as one sticks to the essential layout as supplied, give or take a subdivision or two, and I've not yet had anything move out of place. I do note that a camera with a small lens might not sit quite as securely as a chunky one as I normally would when needing to use this bag rather than a sling one. The zip tags are annoyingly jangly, but I have managed to more or less completely stop this by wrapping duct tape round the offending items. I've not yet tried the backpack in the rain, but it shook off some drops of water I tested it with, and there's a waterproof cover included that fits nicely in the front external pocket. Update: still stand by all the above, but adding a tip here. This bag could seriously do with a waist strap especially when fully loaded. The happy news is that it's cheap and easy to add one. Obtain a long fabric belt from wherever – it will need to be longer than one for your trousers, since it ends up more round your tummy and needs a bit of extra length to attach securely to the bag. Tighten the straps on the bottom of the bag (I've not tried this at the same time as carrying a tripod etc, but no reason why it shouldn't be possible) and thread the belt through, close to the back of the bag, looping once around each strap (or with a simple knot if preferred) to stop it slipping. Job done. Load gets shifted nicely to your waist, and you can loosen the main straps slightly to get some much needed ventilation.

This bag is a dream for photographers who need to carry a lot without feeling weighed down. The TARION Camera Backpack fits my DSLR, multiple lenses, and even my laptop with room to spare. The tripod holder is sturdy, and the waterproof raincover has already saved my gear during a surprise downpour. It’s comfortable to wear, well-padded, and has clever compartments that make organizing easy. Whether you're hiking or city-hopping, this bag keeps your kit safe and accessible.

I bought this as the main storage and carry case for a new camera. Just the right amount of space for a body, a long lens (up to around 24cm in length) and a short zoom. Room enough for hoods and a charger, puffer, spare batteries and cards. If your body and lens combined is more than 31cm you'll need to get something a little bigger unless you don't mind removing the big lens to pack your gear away. It's fine if you usually keep a short lens on the body. Compartment dividers are easily un-velcro'd and repositioned but I imagine if this was done regularly as a matter of course, it would get tatty pretty quickly. You'd still need to treat the whole package with care, there is fairly good padding but I don't think your gear would survive a drop from any appreciable height. There are adjustable straps on the bottom which allow you to attach a compact tripod too. The lid/front flap is a pocket large enough for a compact laptop up to 24cm x 27cm however if you have a full complement of camera gear, this just tips the weight over to a level I wouldn't be happy lugging around. Your choice. I'm happy with it but had I not overstretched my finances with the camera, I may have looked at something a little more paddy! Good product, great price.

I absolutely love this backpack for so many reasons, its decent value for money and gets the job done well! First of all the backpack has interchangable velcro compartments - allowing you to determine the sizes of the compartments. This is great for if you ever change your kit and super easy to do! The backpack also comes with a rain cover which is a great bonus that certainly protects it from harsh weather. Admittedly I have already dropped the bag on the floor and everything was absolutely fine, so it is certainly somewhat shockproof. In regards to the appearance it's absolutely fine, doesn't look clunky on your back is comfortable even with a tripod strapped on. I'd recommend this for everyone that travels with their camera due to its convenience and its ability to keep your camera safe!

Love the design, not plain yet not too flashy. The padding seems high quality for the price and it came with a waterproof bag inside I think? Good to put your expensive lens/camera in that you want extra protection for. It’s somewhat easy to use when travelling however the tripod clip at the bottom isn’t great which is why I’ve given a 4 star rating. You can’t lock the clips when you tighten it to fit the tripod. Maybe it’s because of my tripod, it’s a bit big? I can store my 70-200mm, 100-400mm, filters, battery’s and my camera. Could even try and squeeze my 50mm in, for the size of the bag it actually surprised me how much you can fit inside. It’s nice and deep too. There’s Velcro padding inside which is adjustable however it’s a bit annoying to move around. This makes it easy though to adjust it to what sizes you need. If you listened to all my yap yap, I would definitely recommend this, for the price you really shouldn’t expect much more. 8/10!

Great backpack for cameras and accessories. The bag is big enough to fit a camera, several lenses, filters, batteries and charger, without being too bulky. The inside is well padded and it is easy easy to change the layout inside. The bag is solidly built.
