I used this to display my 1/4 scale Elvira resin and base. Both figure and base very heavy, and this rotating display rotates her well. Does have to plug in. It's a large diameter which accommodate the 12in. diameter base. Power switch on side with power led. Comes with a remote as well. Looks good and the rotation smooth. The quality is good.

The stand is exactly what I expected. The stand rotates smoothly and is quiet. I love the variety of surface colors. It is sturdy and easy to use.

This is a robust turntable with variable speed, pause, home memory and instant reverse all by remote. In this video I have a 30 inch black table top laying on top of the machine. Very happy with this affordable tool for my photo shoots.

I bought this for 3d scanning people, and large objects. It works for what I want it for, but I have 2 issues with it. First the speed. While it is adjustable, it's slightly slower than the alternative $400 option that I'm avoiding. This isn't a deal breaker, but it would be nice to have a higher speed option. Second, the remote pretty much allows you to adjust everything, but good luck figuring out what all the options are without the instructions next to you, and you have to point it DIRECTLY at the sensor or the platform will not respond. Kind of annoying. But overall, if you're needing one and trying to save money, it should perform well enough.

I was a but pessimistic that this unit would actually hold up the the weight as advertised. We'll, it easily flawlessly without any issue holding a 227 lb statue for almost 3 hours while the statue was being scanned by a 3D camera.

AVOID!! BROKE AFTER 2 DAYS! I waited to write this review in order to give this turntable a fair shake. Unfortunately, it’s not worth the affordable price because it’s built so poorly. I maybe got 2 hours of rotation before it stopped turning or responding. It just sits there with the green light on but the turntable mechanism is completely non functional. A real piece of junk. I’d recommend you look elsewhere!

This was a great purchase. I got this for my gf as a gift and have even used it myself. It is good quality and the rotation speed is as advertised. I'm pretty happy with this item and might even get myself one...after I find an inexpensive 360 camera lol. Great purchase for the price.

Bought this for my dad who’s a sculptor so he could make some fun progress content. He’s not techy at all and he absolutely loves this thing. He’s use to manually rotate his stand with one hand and hold his phone with the other. Now it’s smooth and he can focus on the camera! He’s so proud of this videos now, it’s adorable He has put heavier pieces on it and there’s been no issues with weight.

Why would you sell a mains electrical device in the UK with a north American plug and no UK adaptor?

Instead of getting a Xmas tree stand with rotating function, I chose to use this rotating stand instead. Its pretty quiet when in operation, even when switched to the highest speed. There's some motor noise but nothing too loud that disturbs me. In anyway, I only need the slowest speed settling bec the Xmas tree rotation should not be too fast. I used a stick power-bank to connect the Xmas lights and place it on the stand. This way, the rotation does not snag the AC power line. I had to improvise as an original rotating Xmas tree stand would have power plugs design into the stand that is not affected by the rotating motion. I think my idea works pretty well. There has been many bad review of Xmas tree Electric Rotating Stand Base, being noisy, jerky/vibrating at times and the insertion hole does not fit all trees, slanting/leaning trees bec of the movement and hole size don't fit the tree stem securely. Those are the cheaper models. I reckon that this stand will solve the issues bec it does not hold up the tree stem but rather the whole tree base sits on it. Afterall, I can use the rotating stand for my video projects when Xmas season has past. So instead of having the Xmas tree stand left idle for 10 mths, I can make good use of the stand instead. Yes, the stand can take a man's weight and I did tried standing on it with the motor activated. I hope it will last and over time, the motor will not become noisy. If it does, I will update this comment so you will know.
