Well-made and comfortable to hold.
Perfect size! I wish I had seen these a long time ago. I have the regular coffee mugs by this company for many years and was delighted to find these. They are well made and worth the price. The handle is comfortable in my hand and the cup itself is very lightweight. It does keep my cappuccino much warmer than the other ones I have (which are now being donated). I wouldn't use any other brand.

Incredible Latte Cups!
I originally had purchased some cheap latte stoneware cups at Target thinking that a cup is just a cup and it didn't really matter much. Boy... was I wrong! After spending significant time making cafe lattes in the morning, I kept noticing that my lattes would get cold very quickly. It was incredibly frustrating. I soon realized my cheap Target cups were just radiating heat. You could feel all the heat loss on the outside of the cup. So, I did some research online and saw that these Bodum cups were highly rated by many users. And although they were significantly more expensive than my cheap cups, I gave them a try. All I can say is... Wow! These are a total game changer! Night and day. My lattes stay hot for an incredibly long time. Even when I'm close to finishing the drink, with very little coffee at the bottom of the cup, it's still hot. And the telltale sign is that you don't feel heat radiation on the outside of these cups. The double wall keeps the liquid hot for a very long time. The manufacturing quality of these cups is very good. They are made from borosilicate glass which is much more durable glass. It is the same glass used in medical grade flasks and beakers. Apparently even Pyrex used to make their measuring cups out of this more durable glass until they decided to cut costs and go with a cheaper glass (borosilicate glass is more expensive). But, these cups are definitely worth the extra cost!... In this case you get what you pay for. However, as with any glass cup, I'm sure they can break if you get too rough with them or put them in the dishwasher next to/touching other glasses. For that reason I always hand wash mine. Also, Bodum recommends that you don't use metal spoons with them (prevents them from cracking/breaking). So, I picked up a box of plastic spoons at Costco to use with them. You can also find small wooden spoons on Amazon that I'm sure would work well too. Again, these are after all made of glass (even if it is a much stronger glass) and glass can break. But as long as you don't get too rough with them and don't stack them on other dishes in the dishwasher, they should last a very long time. Excellent cups!!

Remarkable
I have had this mug a year and it is remarkable. It keeps my coffee much hotter much longer than any other mug I have used. It cleans easily by hand. And it looks much nicer than any high-tech mug.

*** IF you are buying it to keep your beverage hot, then it's the WRONG choice ***
I did this test for my own self because I really wanted to like these mugs to keep my tea hot longer but the results were disappointing. I will be returning the item. Am sharing this for other people's benefit --The two items compared:1) A porcelain (non-insulated) mug bought from the Dollar StorePRICE - $1Weight of empty mug - 325g2) This glass (double wall insulated) mugPRICE - $15 - $10 depending on which pack you buyWeight of empty mug - 251gI put exactly 300ml (~ 10oz.) of water in the mug being tested and boiled it in the microwave. Then, the stopwatch was started when the temperature dropped to 90°C and stopped when it reached 75°C. Each mug was tested separately. RESULTS--1) 6 min. 31 sec.2) 6 min. 37 sec.SO IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THIS MUG TO KEEP YOUR BEVERAGE HOT LONGER, SKIP IT!!! The rest of the review is only more details.========================================Considering about 4 seconds margin of error due to how quickly I was able to start and stop the stopwatch while lightly stirring the water and taking a picture at the same time, both mugs performed nearly *identically*.REASONS WHY THE SINGLE-WALL PERFORMED SO WELL DESPITE GLASS BEING A SLIGHTLY BETTER INSULATOR THAN PORCELAIN:A) Porcelain has a higher Specific Heat (higher thermal capacity meaning the mug retained more heat when the water was boiled) thus helped in keeping the water hot longer.B) The porcelain mug was heavier (325g) so retained more heat compared to the glass one (251g)C) The porcelain mug had a white-colored interior, which is a good reflector of radiant heat, so it reflected the outgoing heat back into the beverage. The glass has virtually no color and radiates freely to the surroundings.Since nobody makes a vacuum insulated glass mug that is microwave-compatible so the only option to keep your beverage hot longer is to use a stainless steel vacuum insulated mug.

Inspect before use
The best cup for coffee I have ever used but one cup had a crack in the handle and it broke off. I do love the other one.Good that they come in two's.
