OXO Good Grips 1 Litre Angled Measuring Jug

It’s decent sized & the measurement viewing is simple but effective, the markings do work a treat. It’s sturdy as is the handle this was a concern for me but it’s solid. I personally haven’t used it in the microwave or a dishwasher but it is meant to be safe for both so I’ll assume that it is? My BIG issue that weren’t mentioned in the product review & I didn’t see it mentioned in fellow customer reviews was if it would be alright with boiling water poured straight into it & the result (as pictured) is yes it’s absolutely fine with boiling water being poured straight into it (I use it for tea in a Thermos amongst other things) it’s a fine jug, it does its job well.

Thank you. An excellent product. Easy to grip safely and very clear measuring increments in millilitres, fluid ounces and the measurement of a tablespoon! The measurements are easy to read for older people or those less able. I think this is a wonderful product for any kitchen.

Great little cup/jug. It's for measuring our iced coffee concentrate out (which we nee din 30/60ml measures) so this is perfect.... bit of a weird use but this could not be better solution. Well made and the tilted measurement readings and ace and nice and clear. Happy.

I was getting fed up with the plastic jugs with poorly defined markings that faded and left you peering in the light of the kitchen widow, then having to correct the amount when you place it back on a flat surface so go through process again. My mother also brought the same subject up citing the same reasons. I remembered a couple of weeks later so started looking for an alternative. Came across this jug - a Hallelujah moment. I immediately ordered two. I took Mums round as a surprise. She was delighted. My sister who has poor eyesight arrived and immediately said she wanted one, I ordered another for part of her Christmas present. At last we can measure liquids looking from above - no faffing around. Such a simple solution to just stopping you gnash your teeth in frustration and get on with the cooking etc. Not a life transforming thing, just helping you get on with various tasks in a calm mannered way.

I brought this after using one in a holiday let. It may be more expensive than a standard measuring jug but it's worth the extra expense. The handle feels substantial and firm in my hands because of the 'grip' material, I don't worry that I'm going to drop boiling hot liquid all over myself! It's easier to measure the amount of liquid you want too as the numbers are at a slant so you can see them when the item is flat on a surface and they are also in black against a white background so the product would be good for people with sight issues. It is microwave and dishwasher safe and the container doesn't stain like cheaper ones when dark liquid is left in there. 5*

Smaller than expected

Ok, non è scenico. Certamente quando sono in giro mi porto i soliti jigger tradizionali per non sembrare il barman inesperto che ha bisogno del misurino. A casa tuttavia questo jigger risolve completamente il problema di avere diversi jigger e la scala permette di misurare con precisione. L'ho testato con i miei jigger e la scala graduata è precisa. È molto più robusto di quel che sembra in foto tra l'altro. Tutto sommato vale davvero l'acquisto.

Es magnífico para la coctelería, sus medidas son muy precisas, comprobadas con una balanza, el tamaño muy adecuado y el diseño permite una lectura muy clara.

I purchased this solely because it was made by Oxo despite lower priced similar products. I have other Oxo products that I am very satisfied with and was not disappointed in any way with this one. I do believe Oxo sets a standard of quality and value that is almost unrivaled. I have never been, at least so far, with any of the Oxo products I have purchased which include vegetable peelers, salad dressing cruets, salad spinner and mandolin. Their designers clearly use the products they make. Why look any further than Oxo?
