Worked perfectly to replace the trim pieces that got shredded off during normal vacuum usage. The screw holes themselves got stripped when the trim pieces got dislodged. However, a little crazy glue did the trick and everything installed easily after that with the included screwdriver. I’m surprised that these trim pieces make a difference to the vacuum functionality and maneuverability, but they absolutely do. Oh well…glad I could find a replacement without having to replace the entire brush head on the v15 detect.

I purchased this set of wheels for my Gen5 Outsize Dyson after the actual Dyson left me up a creek without a paddle. The motorbar (which these wheels affix to) had its wheels just randomly snap off, and I was told it wasn't covered under warranty, as it was "wear and tear". They had the audacity to offer me a coupon to replace the entire unit. (Also they don't seem to even be able to keep OEM parts in stock!) Which brings me to these replacement wheels, they felt a bit expensive, but to my surprise the material feels more premium than OEM wheels, more grippy, less "cheap plastic". They were easy to put on with the included screwdriver, appear to be the exact same size as the OEM wheels, and fit perfectly. Now everything works fine.

No idea what the negative reviews are about - put these on my Dyson oversized power head after the original ones broke off and Dyson support ghosted me. Work perfectly, much better than original anyway. Glides and turns like butter.

Worked average, good value

I’m not sure who Dyson thinks they are, first, the overall cost of the machine and manufactured to break in this area. Second, the Dyson branded replacement piece is both expensive and unavailable. I read horror stories that they would make you ship the whole machine for a replacement. Enter this fabulous and affordable product. It’s easy to install and gets you back on the “road” quickly!

This upgrade fits perfectly on my Dyson Outsize V11 and has made a noticeable difference in everyday use. The ball wheel rolls smoothly over carpet, timber and tile, and feels a lot more reassuring than the original wheel did once it wore down. Installation was straightforward and didn’t take long, and since swapping it in the cleaner manoeuvres much more easily around furniture and corners. So far, it’s been solid and reliable — a simple but effective replacement that keeps the vacuum gliding the way it should. Good upgrade if you’re after better movement and performance from an older V11.
