Q: What does the bottom of the chair look like? Im trying to understand how the post attaches to the bottom of the seat

My husband put it together. The way it works is s follows. The chair has 7 parts. You are asking about the post which is the middle piece. The post sets in the hole of the middle of the legs, you push that in. Nothing required to secure it. Same with the bottom of the seat. You sit on it and it sets itself in tightly.
