Great learning/distraction for potty training
Never thought I'd buy a book called 'what is poo'... but its great to help little ones during potty training. It gives them something to distract/read, helps encourage them to go, and helps them not be scared of a number 2.

Potty training must have
Now, I’m not usually one for reviews but this book was a life saver. For 9 months we had tried to potty train my son, he mastered number 1’s rather quickly but would constantly soil himself. I tried everything to help, new potty, toilet steps, treats, new cars, stickers etc nothing worked. Then I found this book by accident, my son went from soiling his underpants 3-4 times a day to sitting on the potty and toilet within 48hours. All I had to do was remind him that if he did it in his pants, it couldn’t go to the farm (once you’ve read the book you’ll understand what I mean :-) )worked wonders!!

What is Poo?
I bought this book amongst a few others on the subject as my daughter aged 2 and a half was witholding stool and I wanted her not to be afraid of poo and normalise it!She took to the book immediately, she likes all the flaps, points out different animals and asks for it regularly. I actually think it's helped with this issue too as she now proceeds to list all of the animals that do their business from the book once she has done her own!! 😂This issue aside I can see it is an informative book that children may find amusing anyway. For toddlers I'd recommend reading together as flaps could be torn off fairly easily if left unsupervised. My only reason for rating 4 and not 5 is it is a little pricier than other books in the series but it really is great.

Yep It worked!
Potty training my grandson and although he took to doing number ones on the potty within a day he wasn’t so keen to sit and wait a bit for number two’s! Bought this book and he happily sat and read it over and over until Bingo! Potty training now ticked off the list! It is still his favourite current book to read and is actually very informative. Happy Nanny!

Everything you need to know 😂 our LO loved it. Reading to poo book during potty times. As much as we talk about poo i noticed she is getting more comfortable about potty time.

Brilliant
Daughter was having difficulty in understanding and not being scared of having a poo on the toilet, this book explains poo, what it is, what happens when you flush a poo down the toilet, different types of animals poo which believe me was actually quite interesting even for an adult. The best thing I would say is it gets you talking about poo which is very helpful for a young one!It has lots of interactive flaps so the child can pull them open to discover an interesting fact underneath. I do recommend.
