Thinkfun Cold Case Files - A Pinch of Murder - Murder Mystery Game for Adults and Kids Age 14 Years Up

We have played these cold case games before and they are great fun. At first the amount of reading is daunting, there is a lot of information in the packs. But once you all start reading a bit and the discussion starts, the facts start to fall into place and you eventually work towards a conclusion. It's one of the few activities that the teenagers are happy to do with their parents... would recommend!

Played in a group of 4. There’s quite a large amount of reading to be done but overall, it’s a good story. No need to go online for clues like other puzzles I’ve had in the past - everything you need is in the box.It took approx 1 hour 30 mins to solve. It’s a relatively basic story, in amongst all of the text, there’s a few small clues that’ll lead you to the correct answers to the “who done it?” questions you start out with.There’s a few things that might throw you off the trail but you’ll get there if you work on it. Can be done alone but a group is probably the best way to experience this game.Recommended.

Bought this for a friend's birthday. We sat and did it last night. Perhaps about 2hrs. We all had great fun and got it right ;)

The pack came with a dossier of evidence, including a list of what should be there, complete with photographs and all the police interview transcripts. Make sure you read everything thoroughly though. When you’ve cracked the case you can put your findings in using the link on the first page and it tells you if you’ve got it correct or not. Very impressed and felt like a proper detective. Great fun for an excellent price.

this was an absolute blast! Surprisingly easy to solve, it was perfect for beginners. The gameplay was incredibly fun and engaging, keeping everyone hooked till the end. The level of challenge was just right—neither too complex nor too simple. It made for an entertaining evening, and I'd highly recommend it, especially for those new to murder mystery games
