So cute! Our niece (8 yrs old) loved this gift for her birthday. I switched the on off switch all the way to the left (off the demo mode) and recorded "Happy Birthday (her name)" and when she opened up the gift and pressed the button, she heard the recorded message. She thought it was so cool! My daughter loved these birds when she was that age too. Would definitely recommend this gift. You can record any short message into the bird. So fun!
