on different days so you don't get so bored doing the same dvd which can happen if there's ...
This is a great dvd in a different format with 3 workouts you do on different days. Core one day, upper body next day then lower body on the 3rd day. Do each workout twice a week with one day off. Different workouts on different days means you don't get so bored doing the same dvd which can happen if there's just the one workout. Some of the moves are quite complicated and may take a few sessions to get them right. Personally I found the lower body workout most challenging and the core the least. In all 3 you will work up a sweat and work the whole body. I'm a great fan of Jillian's and have many of her dvds. This is a good one and definitely worth having in your collection to rotate with others. I've been doing it for 4 days, doing one workout a day...don't think I could handle doing 2 together. Jillian is great fun in this dvd and seems to have taken notice of adverse comments she's received in the past about her aggressive attitude (although that never bothered me...it motivated me).I'm fairly fit and workout every day and I would say this is more for the intermediate/advanced although there are plenty of modifications demonstrated for the beginner. I would highly recommend this dvd.

Improved core after 3rd workout!
I was looking long and hard for a good workout DVD from a qualified trainer, not one from a celebrity who has no qualifications in health and fitness training. I remembered hearing about Jillian Michaels and was amazed at how many DVDs were available! I decided to go with the Killer Body one as it was 30 minute workouts and manageable for time. I have done 3 Core workouts alternating between each day to build up my resistance and I have been aching mainly on my obliques, abs and back but its all gone now. I was really proud of myself this morning that I was performing better at the workout and bearing in mind, this was my 3rd time doing it and already felt improved core functioning. I am slowly building the level of workouts, not going straight into 6 workouts. I will be doing Lower Body tomorrow and from what I have read it, it will be a challenge which I look forward to testing out! Would definitely recommend and Jillian is really motivating. By the 3rd workout I didn't need to watch her so much as I grew more confident in doing the workouts independently.

Brilliant Workout
This is a brillibt DVD for doing over the course of a few weeks! I can always tell when I've done it and Jillian encourages you throughout every workout. She really pushes you when you need it! 4 stars because the camera work on this is a bit shakey and can be a little off putting!

Love it
I used to be a HUGE Jillian fan, regularly doing No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism. Then I met a boy, moved in with him and suddenly I had lost my work-out space and my time for all things Jillian. At the start of this year, my Mother made the inevitable comment about having put on a little weight; never nice to hear but not unexpected. So I dusted off the 30 Day Shred on the basis that I could still fit in half an hour each day. I haven't really changed my diet but was working out at least 4 times if a week but usually 5-6 times. Progress was slow, there were lots of nights I threatened to throw Jillian in the bin but I got there. I needed a new challenge though - something in the 30 mins region but which gave a good workout blast. I bought Killer Body and on the first night I tried the Lower Body workout. Parts of it, quite frankly, scared me so much I laughed but I felt it the next day. I started into the routine Jillian suggests of alternating days. Initially, I was lucky if I was managing 50-60% of the workout and much was on the modified moves, however, I was definitely a sweaty Betty by the end. I have been working on it now for over a month and although I will never be a Kate Moss, the skinny jeans are definitely looking better! Initially, I thought the Lower Body workout was the absolute worst (seriously, donkey kicks and rockstars together?!) but, as time has gone on, I am now completing 95% of each workout with much reduced modifications and increased weights. This has meant the Upper Body and Core workouts are actually now much harder than at the start but also much much more rewarding! All in all, I love this workout system and will be sticking with it for at least another month before maybe moving on to Ripped in 30 or similar. You can fit it into a busy day, it helps beat out the stresses of the day and, whilst it will not completely kill you, you will feel the results!

Not really for beginners but a great DVD from Jillian yet again.
I love Jillian Michaels, I started with 30 day shred DVD and then 6 week 6 pack. This one is great for the variation of upper body, lower body, core on seperate days and is certainly a great step up from the others I have. However, personally I think a good level of strength and fitness along with coordination is required in this DVD compared to the others where it was easier to follow and 'no gimmicks' training for all levels. No doubt I'll order some more of hers at a later date too...she has a killer body!

I have quite a few Jillian Michael DVDs, this is by far one of the most effective for those with limited time to exercise who want to get into shape but who also want to feel as though they've done a good session, its easy to follow and goes at a nice pace without rushing you, some of the exercises are slightly challenging, but with practise are not hard to overcome, love the switching sections each day so it doesn't become repetitive, and even though she says you are focusing on certain area of your body, you still get to work out the other parts in the meantime with some cardio added in too. An all round, and now my favourite, workout DVD.

Tough Workout with Results A+
Love this Dvd. I don't have 30 minutes as day as advised so I doubled up Monday Upper Body & Core, Wednesday Upper Body & Lower body, Friday Lower Body & Core. Perfect. There are still some bits I am working on, but will push through and work up to the full move as Jillian advises on the dvd "modify the move till you can achieve it" Tough workout with results.

Jillian has done another great dvd with short but effective workouts- love all 3 of them and she is a little more fun inthis dvd than some of her earlier ones. The only thing that bothers me is on the core workout her 2 supporting ladies look like they're bored out of their minds which isnt the best motivation but hey, I don't them!

Allenamento molto completo, per mettersi in forma in poco tempo, contiene tre livelli di difficoltà, bastano 10 giorni per ciascuno per notare grande differenza nel corpo e nella mente :-). Certo, allenamenti di Jillian sono duri e bisogna abituarsi che il programma è veloce e spesso manca tempo e fiato fra un esercizio e altro, ma questo è stile di Jillian. Esercizi in se sono invece facili di capire e non serve neanche a capire inglese. Vantaggio invece è che basta mezz'ora di allenamento al giorno, invece stare ore e ore in palestra o massacrando il corpo a casa... Jillian varia molto esercizi, e alla fine i suoi allenamenti sono molto piu facili da eseguire che dvd fitness offerti da Amazon di un altra marca ( troppo complicate coreografie... ). Grazie Jillian!! Più che consigliato!

Ho quasi tutti i dvd di Jillian e questo mi sembra uno dei migliori, se non il migliore che ho acquistato! Allenamento completo! L'unica pecca è che non ha i sottotitoli in inglese e non sempre si capiscono le istruzioni. Comunque consigliato!

Questo programma composto da tre workout, ciascuno dedicato a un gruppo muscolare, è decisamente interessante: rispetto a altri programmi, strutturati su livelli (due, massimo tre) da portare ciascuno a termine, il fatto che i tre workout siano da svolgere a rotazione lo rende molto vario. E poi è di quelli che durano circa trenta minuti, molto gestibile in qualsiasi ritaglio di tempo e, se si è già un po' allenati, è un ottimo mantenimento (per i risultati potrò esprimermi solo tra qualche settimana). Vivamente consigliato. Non richiede altro che un tappettino e due o tre coppie di manubri. Ah, e un buon paio di scarpe sportive.
