Decent quality Shimano 3x front derailleur
Works great on 3x drivetrain up to 50t. Bottom pull with a quick setup template guide makes installation a breeze.

No cable housing bracket
This derailleur design has no housing bracket to hold the cable, so you wind up having to buy a rare $15 housing holder clamp which doubles the price. Buyer beware.

Works great No screw end to put chain thru
Nice derailer, would have given a 5 Star, but did not have a screwed end to put chain in.

Great replacement for a vintage road bike
I have a 1989 Bianchi road bike that the front derailluer had completely rusted and wouldn't move properly and I still wanted to keep the old girl around as a hop on and off bike with flat pedals so I was needed a simple inexpensive derailluer for a seven speed chain. This worked perfectly. It comes with two sets of shims so that you can size to different size frame diameters. Mine used the thick ones. It shifts great now.

Five Star Budget Derailleur!
I have an 1980's 10 speed that I got out for the summer. The first ride I took I had problems shifting and soon realized the front derailleur clamp had broken and the derailleur was left hanging loose. I was lucky it did not catch in the chain causing more problems. Not sure what to do and not having a local bike shop nearby I resorted to the internet and next to Amazon for the derailleur. I had ordered from Niagara Cycle Works before and felt if I had any issues I could trust them to make the needed exchange. The derailleur arrived quickly and came with everything you would need depending on the most common tube sizes. You will need to break the chain so be prepared if your chain does not have a master link. The derailleur was relatively easy to line up. It does not pull exactly like the original one did in that mine pulled from the opposite side of the main frame and this one doesn't. It does work though. It needed no adjusting other than the height off the sprocket teeth and the cable itself. I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend it. I know I would buy again.
