Worked really well for our DIY floating shelves, sturdy and support the weight.

These shelf brackets are very solid and make it fairly easy to mount shelves on a wall with no visible support. In other words words, “floating shelves.” For my project I made a double layer of 1/2” plywood with a 1/2” space between the two plywood boards. The rods projecting from these shelf brackets are 1/2” in diameter so it was easy to slide the shelves onto the rods after mounting the brackets to the wall. I bought pre-primed pine boards to finish off the outer edges of the shelves. These brackets are excellent value and work very well.

Worked well, sturdy and I’m using them with 2ft teak wood 30mm shelves. No issue or sagging.

One of the two brackets that I received was warped out of shape making it unusable. I was also missing the drywall anchors that are supposed to be included, however I wouldn't have trusted them anyway. The one unbent bracket looks ok, but I wouldn't say it looks or feels very strong (probably why one was out of shape before it even arrived). In summary they're cheaper than others for a reason, so don't purchase thinking you're going to get a premium product, but if you're not planning on putting too much weight on it they could be ok.

I used this to fit a floating mantelpiece and it worked perfectly. The mantel is securely fixed, no flexing when leaned on. I would use this product again.
