Easy to understand information about a scary diagnosis. Gives specifics on what you can do regarding supplements, exercises, and nutrition to improve your chances of maintaining and/or increasing your bone density, balance, and the prevention of falls.Igor responded via email right away when I asked about a personalized exercise plan. We had a Zoom call that same afternoon. He truly wants people to be educated about osteoporosis and succeed in being as healthy as possible. Highly recommend the book and check out the free links to exercises and other topics. Igor is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to about your situation and goals.

The best osteo book!
Osteoporosis Reversal Secrets is an outstanding book. Based on studies, it gives you relevant, useful information to help fight your osteo. It’s concise, easy to read and has a conclusion chapter at the end that nicely summarizes all the important stuff! This book is a "must have"!

Somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. I think I would get more out of this if I had it in paperback. Perhaps I will order it. It is simply too hard to see any small print info in Kindle format. That is with any book.It is a quick read overall. There is a discussion on what supplements dont really help. Maybe they dont hurt, but they dont help. Remember this book is about osteoporosis, so if you already have bone loss you need to do more and different than what sees logical.Same goes for exercises. Walking is good for everyone, but it wont be effective for building bone. It isnt the type of weight bearing exercise that is needed. The kind that is needed is IMPACT, and so that could be a real challenge for some. Jumping, bumping, etc.There is a program outlined, but it is reference to a specific person described. Your needs and what your body can handle may well be different.It talks about behavior changes. Which may or may not apply to folks. I read this on behalf of my 73 years old mom. She is slender, in shape, always has been, eats healthy, leads a very active life (very physical job and also her hobbies are physical). But she has bone loss, and her doctor immediately recommended medication. We are pro taking what needs to be done, BUT the meds for osteoporosis are down right frightful. Zero info given for other means to address this issue. So we are in info gathering mode before any decisions are made.It isnt just about building bone but more importantly about reducing fractures.As for myself, late 40s, I am keen on making sure I truly do what it means to build boneSo overall I think the book is a worthwhile read. Not complicated, and has some eye opening info.THE WEBSITE that keeps being referred to take you to a landing page where you plug in your email. From there, an email is sent back with a slew of links to more info and resources. One includes a variety of YT videos on some exercises etc.The risk calculator tool is weird. I have to put my info in cm or kg, but there is a limit for weight. So I had to reduce my weight by 25 lbs to fit into the max weight allowed. How weird.

Everything you need is in this book.
A month ago I was diagnosed with osteoporosis with a T-score of 2.5 hips, osteopenia in spine and given a prescription for Flosamax. Because of the reviews of this drug and beside effects, it scared me enough to not take it. So, I started researching ways I can tackle this without meds. I did the typical Google searches, bit nothing really helped. I saw this book on Amazon, read a few reviews and ordered it right away. I ended up reading it in one sitting. If you are the same situation as I'm in, please consider this book. There's no fluff, no "fillers" that so many have and just don't need. You will find science and fact based information on how you can manage osteoporosis without medication. What works, what doesn't. All based on studies done and published. Even if you consider meds, this book is highly recommended. I highlighted and dog eared so many pages that I will use as a reference going forward. I'm giving this book 5 stars for the factual, sensible, real information that so many of us need.

SO helpful!!
I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in my mid twenties. I fractured my hip running on a treadmill! I'm now 37... I've been tossed around to doctors throughout the years with no one ever giving me a clear answer or guideline for what I need to do. Osteoporosis has sat on the back burner; however, at my most recent scan my doc said she wanted to put me on bone medication which was a red flag for me. I bought Igor's book and I have learned SO much. Guidelines for me to follow!! Things I've never heard about but make so much sense!! I've always done aerobic exercise with no weight training. "Weight bearing" exercise can be very deceiving. I've toned down on that and focus on lifting. Protein has always been so limited in my diet but I'm making a conscious effort to incorporate it. Collagen too! A very educational must follow! I am feel extremely confident I will be able to rebuild by spine and hips by my next scan!

Excellent book!
I chose this book because the author wasn't trying to sell supplements. I had just found out I had osteoporosis and was frightened by the thought of a future of pain. In chapter 1, I learned that bone loss doesn't necessarily mean bone fractures. I didn't know this. I also connected with his statement to: Redefined success - don't focus on the outcome. That is brilliant! I blamed myself for this disease and would have blamed myself if I couldn't control it. The book is the right length, the research that was included were appropriate, large studies. I have already begun using his recommendations.
