High quality, sounds awesome
Typical installation for an amp, everything included in the box for low-level RCA input. I did not replace my factory head unit so used my own wire for speaker-level input. Sub fit perfectly under driver’s seat of 2021 Kia Soul. Box made of all metal and is high quality (nice and heavy), sound output is much much bigger than appearance, so perfect for stealthy bass. For optimal performance, speaker should be placed on floor of the vehicle, where possible, as it is designed to use the cabin to reverberate low frequency sound. Cannot beat the performance for the price. This little thing thumps!

Pleasantly Surprised
I installed this in a 45 year old Land Cruiser with doors that don’t lock so I was really just looking for a little extra bass but something that wouldn’t ruin my day if it got stolen. I’m pretty impressed with how this thing sounds! Certainly for the price it meets all my needs. I’ve got a Kicker 10” hideaway in another car and honestly don’t think it’s 4x better than this one even though it’s 4x the price. This isn’t going to rattle your neighbors house or anything but that wasn’t what I wanted. It’s very compact and decent sounding. I would have no problem recommending this to anyone looking to add a bit of bass without spending a ton of money or needing a bunch of space.

Not bad, not great - better than not having it
Does what it's supposed to do: adds a little extra Bass to the total overall sound while not occupying too much space.FYI, while running at full strength, I measured about 5-7Amps at 12V. I connected it to the same power wires that feed into my radio which has a 10A fuse. Running my radio + woofer at full blast did not blow the fuse. So connecting the dedicated thick wires from the car battery is too much hassle and pointless. This tiny little thing does not draw too much power. As a side note, I have a 2015 Subaru WRX where they sell separately a Kicker subwoofer. The official cable harness for that factory subwoofer connects to the same power cable that feeds into the stock radio. So I did the same procedure with this one.The build is pretty sturdy: closed metallic aluminum casing. It does not have a bass reflex hole - which could have generated a louder sound.I had to connect it to my existing speaker wires, as my radio does not have a separate SW out.The bad part: running the radio at medium volume, you can hear this SW quite loudly. Sometimes too loud for the current volume. However, when increasing the volume on the radio, the subwoofer power does not increase with it too much. It falls behind. So at loud volumes, the subwoofer feels too weak. And again at low volumes, the woofer is too loud and annoying. You would need to constantly adjust the separate SW volume level as well at different volumes - which is inconvenient, especially while having to drive.Because it does not increase its volume too much at high levels, it does not distort the sound - so that is a good thing.Overall I am 70% happy with the acquisition, especially because I did not want to pay $500 for the factory woofer or lose trunk space with a regular tube one.

Great buy
Fit under the seat. Came with wiring. This unit has punchy bass that fills in what your stock speakers are missing.

Price to performance is PHENOMENOL
With a bit of tinkering and adjustments, you can make this little sub sound amazing with your speakers. I've had this now for a while and just did the low-input wiring to the sub. It sounds even better! Also suggest having a good radio to make all the adjustments you need for sound. But you can get okay sound with the OEM radio.

Totally sucks
Not worth the money, recieved item without the wires as seen and desribed on box had to purchase the wires seperately and once installed it sounded like crap no bass, sounded like my stock speakers were the only speakers working, seriously not worth buying

Jeep TJ upgrade
Happy with range and performance, and the aluminum construction is sturdy. Placed under the rear seat of a 1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ that didn’t have the stock subwoofer in the center console. Ran the 4 wires in a 1/2” wire loom on the interior driver’s side from the battery and stereo (don’t forget to splice in the remote wire (blue one) on the back of the stereo as the subwoofer needs that to recognize the power on sequence. I didn’t use the additional min/max control unit (it’s optional) as I didn’t want more stuff on the dash. Set up the unit for the low pass, and I did place an inline 10 Amp fuse in the power line as I had several from another project. Earth shattering low frequency bass? No, but it truly has enough to fill in the gaps of the other speakers that just don’t quite get there. Make sure you mind the 180 push-down button as when in the wrong position it sounds like a V-Twin was idling nearby. For the money not a bad option at all.
