The perfect glue for modelling, thin, but quick setting
I use this for tabletop wargame modelling, both figures and vehicles (Bolt Action, Warhammer sort of thing.) It's really a plastic cement so will only work with those sort of plastics. It won't glue resin or metal. For this task it's amazing though. It's really thin, very precise with the brush and grips faster than standard cements like Games workshops version which is really helpful when you are working with tiny miniatures and fiddly parts. You can get a piece in place, let it grip, make fine adjustments and then because the glue is so thin even drop more into any seam or joint by capillary action of you need/want to. Wouldn't use anything else. Only thing to be aware of is to keep the top on because it will evaporate and it does give of mild spirit type fumes, so may not be suitable for young children to use.

Model Building Magic, Handle With Care!
The Tamiya Extra Thin Cement 40ml is widely renowned throughout the world as the best product for gluing together plastic model kits made from polystyrene plastic. The extra thin formula allows modelers to glue small pieces with pinpoint accuracy and finesse, thanks to the fine brush applicator included. This glue is perfect for creating seamless joins without any mess or bulky residue. Using this glue is definitely a learning curve, so make sure you don’t accidentally use it on the wrong material, like I did when I tried using it on the wrong material, let's just say it wasn't designed for anything other than plastic, and I ended up with an interesting, albeit unsuccessful, experiment. Lesson learned! The glue's capillary action lets it flow effortlessly between tightly matched parts, creating an almost invisible bond and setting faster than Tamiya's standard cement. It’s ideal for anyone looking to take their model building to the next level, offering precision, reliability, and a professional finish. Please note: this cement should be used in a well-ventilated area, and it is highly flammable, so avoid using it near any naked flames. Close the cap immediately and securely after use to prevent evaporation. Just remember to keep those fingers out of the way, and you'll be set for success!

The Gold Standard for Plastic Model Building
Tamiya Extra Thin Cement is hands down the best plastic glue I’ve used. The ultra-thin formula flows perfectly into seams and joints by capillary action, giving you super clean and precise bonds without any mess. The included applicator brush in the cap is small and accurate, which makes it easy to apply just the right amount, even in tight spots. It’s ideal for assembling scale models, Gundams, Warhammer kits, and anything polystyrene-based. It slightly melts the plastic to fuse pieces together, resulting in a strong bond that looks seamless once set. Dries quickly and doesn’t leave a glossy residue if you’re careful. If you're serious about model making, this is a must-have in your toolkit. Just remember — it's not a gap filler, it’s for precision bonding.

Thin Cement That Works
Apart from having some very poignant aromas from the bottle it is a great glue it sets in no time at all and it withstands a fair amount of force applied to the place where its glued and it does not separate, it is very effective on acrylic models and it is simple to apply ( like brushing on water onto the model ), the only downside is the lid can either get cemented to the bottle or leak a little apart from that a good product.

Great glue for modelling
The best plastic glue I’ve ever used. Easy to apply in the correct place and sticks within a short space of time.

Best miniature glue you’ll buy
I now use this exclusively for all my minis. No complaints at all and super strong.

It's the best plastic glue
If you ask almost any group of hobbyists about plastic glue, you'll probably get recommended this stuff for good reason. It's not as bad for fumes as some of the stronger stuff, and it won't melt details too badly if a little goes astray, but it will make a strong bond in seconds, and can even be used to smooth out joins and the like. It comes in a sturdy little glass pot that's thankfully hard to knock over, and with a little brush in the cap that makes it easy to apply. Obviously, try not to breathe in the fumes too much, and use it somewhere with decent ventilation if you can, or it may start to irritate your eyes and sinuses. If you get a bit on your hands, go wash them. Basically, be sensible and you'll be fine! One pot will probably last most people years; I've used mine for the entire Horus Heresy Age of Darkness box (yes, including the big Spartan tank), plus a rhino and three jetbikes, the entire 40k Leviathan box, a box of Hellblasters and a box of Intercessors, several Underworlds Warbands, a vanguard box of Daughters of Khaine, other random stuff and I'm still only just over halfway through it! So you'll almost certainly get your money's worth!
