The Beko Web site was perfect with a link to their video explaining the (obviously common) issue with the washing machine not starting with the cause being the door interlock switch. I emailed Beko to confirm replacement part number and found the spare straight away on reliable Amazon, ordered and received it the following day. Just had a chance to fit and all works fine 👍😁 If you are fitting one,use a plastic tyre lever to release the door gasket spring as it doesn't risk damaging the door gasket.

Would recommend this to anybody who has been having problems with the interlock switch on their washing machine. Even I managed to fit it although I did consult a few videos first.

Although my beko washing machine door was closing it wasn’t activating the wash cycle anymore. It was hit and miss so I took the appliance lid off and saw that the lock was very easy to unclip. Looked one up on Amazon and found it here. Much newer and a perfect fit. So easy to do yourself. Saved me ££££s. Item was a good cheap price too. Very good.

This single item completely fixed the problem with my door lock that had my washing machine out of use for weeks. I was unable to afford costs to have a trademan come out and fix the machine for me. After finding instruction on fitting, I fitted it myself, and once set back up, the washer worked instantly. Absolutely superb! Easy installation, perfect fit.
