Simple front opening, suits needs
Needed for specific open shelf space. Various food knock knacks in there. Open/closes fine, no damage when delivered. Plain and simple, as I wanted.

Too small and not air-tight
You have to cut a loaf in half to fit it in and the hole in the door means the bin is not air-tight so bread will get drier sooner. Nice quality and handy to have a broad top which you can puts things on, though.

Nice small bread bin BUT...
Nice little bread bin, looks nicely made BUT there's a random nail in the top. It made me wonder if the bin is veneered and not solid bamboo? I could find no other reason for the nail? I'll be returning it for this reason but may reorder becauseit'sa nice shape and size.Edit: I decided to reorder but unfortunately I had to return it again due to some damage on the surface and glue patches (I added 4 new photos). I was charged postage for the refund on this occasion which I think was a cheek if the item is damaged. For this reason I will not risk ordering again.
